You watched 16 episodes ? Then that’s the entire show. Mdl lists the two parts separately but not Netflix.
I got greedy and wanted 16 more episodes! 💀
I first searched for the Glory Season 1, and Google said it was on Netflix and it was 16 episodes. That’s why I thought that there had to be another 16 episodes for Yeo Jung’s revenge! Lol.
Not sure what nonsense you're spreading but Muhammad peace be upon him NEVER drank Alcohol.
I don’t agree with you. I think that people have a responsibility to correct misinformation if they come to know the truth! Ignorance is not a bliss, but a disease that propagates faster than HnNn viruses.
I just did some research out of curiosity and found out something interesting! See my comment below to the other person for reference.
All people commenting about drinking and placing facts, don't go and write about anything about anyone religion…
As someone who was in this for the show only and for my own peace of my mind, I just made the decision not to come to this page anymore. There is more engagement with hatred than with content related to the show; and people are getting bolder and bolder with their discriminative posts with 0 intervention from MDL. You have people talking about France, Qatar, FIFA, Bukhari, Hubal, lmao… a nasty shakshouka! 🤮

I did some research, and apparently, what he used to drink was just water with raisins (Zabib) and dates (Tamr) mixed together. He drank that up to day 2, before day 3 when it became “khamr” (alcohol). The first one I mentioned was called “nabeed”, but the word did not refer to alcoholic wine at that time; only to that concoction I mentioned. Nowadays, nabeed refers to red wine.
An ignorant person will take what they want and leave the rest, or chooses to interpret something in a way that would support their argument despite it being false — and guess what, the masses, drunk on hatred and ignorance, rejoice! 🥴
I'm a CDrama Lover, and I am an Arabic person also, I felt so angry about what happend, and who said it is fictional…
They apologized and said that they would do their best to correct the situation. Please, put an end to all the claims now; you’re not getting anywhere with what you’re saying. Stop!
Also, I don’t think this is affecting religion and Arab people as a whole. For instance, the Arab world includes North Africa too — even though its people do not necessarily identify with the Arab identity— but I don’t think they got as offended as you if at all. Saying that the whole Arab world got offended is not accurate.
Let’start meaningful discussions about this drama! It’ll shadow all the trolls lol.
The comments here smell hate, ignorance and inaccurate generalizations left and right. It has been a few days since I started watching this drama and checking this page, but I’ll leave soon if this circus continues *sigh*
I like Da-Eul’s character! She was portrayed as a party girl who did not want to settle down at first, but she became a great wife, mother, and daughter-in-law! She is so nice; she absolutely deserves better than that good-for-nothing husband. I don’t know why she is putting up with his disgusting behaviour and focusing way too much on her job… I wonder if the writers are planning on making him change (someone like him needs a big shock to wake up!) or if it is actually Da Eul who’s gonna leave her husband.
I think Guwon mentioned once that the Prince was married (up to) 4 times. Wasn’t this a hint at his religion? We know in Christianity, you’re only allowed to get married once! The majority of the Arab world allows for 4 wives because Islam says that it is possible for some men to do so, even though it says that one is actually enough because most men can’t be just and fair. Having more wives is probably more common in the Gulf countries and easier for a Prince because he has a lot of money and can satisfy every wife. I understood from what Guwon said that the Prince is at least in a Muslim country—unless he meant that the Prince is a 4X divorcee lol, it was most likely a hint at religion.
I am curious about what other people thought, though. It seemed to me that those who got offended were more at the portrayal of a Gulf prince than that of a religion.
great to see yall being racist and islamophobic to real people over a fictional show, get some serious help please.…
If you see a hate comment, one targeting an ethnic group or a religion, or promoting violence/discrimination, please report them! This platform should NOT be used as a means to propagate hate. Civilized and respectful discussion/debate are the only ones that should be welcomed. Tackle the argument; don’t attack the person! No spam, no hate speech, no propaganda.
It is true the ML takes the Prince for a fool but the Prince also takes him for a fool. Both do it for their own…
I think they are referring to comments on this page! I definitely saw a few Islamophobic and xenophobic comments, which I reported, but are still there! Everyone would appreciate a nice and respectful discussion/debate, but I guess it is too late since trolls saw this messy situation as an opportunity to promote their hatred under the disguise of “fighting spam”. I still believe that this is a safe place and it should remain so; and no one should feel unwelcome because of their ethnic background or their religion.
This show is so cringy does it gets better I’m on episode 7.
My “cringe detector” got only activated in episode 7 and during most of episode 8 as these seemed more like an unnatural and a failed attempt at a “fablesque” temporary love-triangle! Other than that, I have to say that I enjoyed the series up until now—even its cliché tropes! However, if you found most of the series cringey, it might be difficult to expect a sudden thrilling turn of events in the second half. Unless we have a very good plot with Guwon’s mother or his sister, I don’t think you’re going to enjoy the rest of the series.
I knew the second the prince showed up that there would be articles about it 😑 Regardless of the character…
I didn’t enjoy the “Arab Prince” appearance either. It didn’t blend well with the story, wasn’t funny at all, and only served as an “exotic” love triangle lol. The writers could have made the plot line way more enjoyable and entertaining, but they didn’t—at least for me. I am glad he left already! Lol.
The second half of ep 8 was nice. Jun ho with eggs in his mouth looked cute. I liked how he distorted his face…
I too thought that the part with the Prince was cringe and very boring! Him falling in love with Sarang was the cringiest part of it—together with being fluent in Korean because his first love was Korean! LMAO 😬
I am still watching Episode 8, and the Prince just left — good riddance! XD
When the producers of the drama decided to represent other cultures in disrespectful way then it’s fair for…
Sharing your irritation is okay! I am referring to comments that are targeting nations and communities with hate speech. There is also a difference between expressing an opinion and spamming—the latter is what is problematic as it does exactly what you guys do not want to happen: people becoming insensitive to the issue you’re raising, and getting frustrated at you instead of sympathizing with you.
I am sorry for such a portrayal! This is what I felt as a viewer. However, as someone who was affected by such a depiction, you should probably use YouTube or contact the drama team. I am sure MDL is not gonna solve anything for you!

I just thought of Gu won’s friend! He is nice and smart—and I think would make a good step-father for Chorong.

Peace to all!
