I know that deep down he did care even a little bit! All the points you mentioned are valid. However, he still acted coldly towards SJ most of the time, and SJ didn’t know if he cared about him or not. In fact, no one would have guessed that SH cared about his brother. It appeared to be one-sided since day 1. I am not sure if framing your brother as the murderer and planting those fake memories in his brain at the age of 8 count as “caring”; SJ also could have been killed by Baek. Had he not called Eun Gi, no one knows what would have happened. I would love to see a few scenes from the past, when they were teenagers, or where SJ visits SH, with the hope to see SH show at least a little sign! 😭

P.S. regarding the 💣, I am not sure if SH defused it to protect SJ, he would have died too had YJ pressed the key at the right moment. This is just to say that I know SH cared a bit about his brother at one point, but at the same time, I am not convinced of that. I’m somehow confused 😅

OMG, this could mean that they are gonna release a special episode like Mouse! This would explain why we did not have the details about the story of Charles and YJ!!! I hope we’re gonna get an episode to show us how YJ and SH reconnected and how they planned everything! Also, we might get the real answer as to whether SH has ever considered SJ as a real brother! 🥹

I also want to add that part of the reason why SH got a life sentence was that the victims were not involved in the HWC neither directly nor indirectly. Had he gone for the real perpetrators, I think that he would have had a lighter sentence! I remember that in the drama Cross a doctor intentionally gave the wrong medication over a long period of time to a prisoner to induce liver failure, but since the prisoner was an organ trafficker, the doctor only had his licence suspended for a few months! (No criminal charges). Not sure, but I think that killing Baek & Co. would have resulted in a lesser sentence than the one he got.

I agree with you. Saying that YJ killed the daughters because he “felt like it” and that since he is a victim, his feeling is justified, is totally unacceptable. I, too, would have liked if the boys went after the perpetrators and made them shit blood! They had so many ways in which they could have done so—heck, one of them was a judge and the other an engineer! I felt sorry for the victims of YJ, who were all innocent women, and for Tae Ho, who suffered his whole life for a mistake he made when he was 13 and only got the chance to say he was sorry a few seconds before he committed suicide. I feel deep sorrow for what the HWC boys had to endure, and I know we all do, but this series of murders was not it… Unlike Eun Gi, I won’t say that murder is unjustified no matter what, but murdering the weak to vent your anger is not revenge—it is just another murder 😭

I have not seen people mentioning this, but the actress who played the shaman was absolutely amazing! The way she acted when she was possessed sent chills down my spine! At first, I skipped a few scenes because I am afraid of supernatural things, but then went back to watching them and was impressed with her acting. Brava!!
