Repetitiveness and that every-member-of-the-cast-has-to-go-''what? this and that happened-every-time-anything-happens thing aside, I loved this drama and watched it twice.
I would like to highlight the small, allmost meta moments:
- our hero is the exact same situation for the n:th time, someone says ''if you don't manage to cure them-'' and he interrupts ''yes, I know, my life is forfeit''
- everything is going towards severe noble idiocy, and then the heroine just says ''I don't have the slightest intention of going away, we'll work this out''
- our couple is having a k-drama cute moment, they decide to go on first name terms, they giggle... and suddenly Kwanghyeon turns serious, says ''what are we, children?'' and they kiss like a couple of actual grown-ups.
Those were really delightful.

While I am familiar with the ''you are never the only one'' principle, and logic tells me that there must be others too, I'm yet to see any comments written by them.
On the other hand, seeing people enjoying something this much is pretty amazing, I'm happy for all of you.

Um... am I really the only person on this planet that didn't find it funny at all?

Thank you, I had the exact same problem. They are just mean for the sake of being mean and make obstacles for the female lead. They never learn anything and their closure is ''hm huh ok...?''
For me this is not an element of good storytelling.

Yes this thing is very cartoonish and kinda silly and even my amazing disbelief-suspending skills were put up to a challenge, BUT it's thouroughly entertaining and I enjoyed it enormously.

It's the cartoonishness that makes it so charming.

There is quite a bit of a romance but it feels rather pointless and meaningless. No kind of viewer is satisfied at the end of the day

Thank you, I feel so lonely not liking this thing at all. I just don't get it. Most of the jokes are people getting hurt.

This thing is marvellous. I have only one complaint: this horrible servant guy was never called out for what he did. He totally ruined Yi Haego's life, he even caused Haego's father's death, and I was expecting the whole time for Haego to realize that and kill him or at least throw him out. Or someone else to point it out, Cho Rin or Dae Jungsang knew that he was the root of many evils and had many opportunities to say ''this guy is super toxic, get rid of him'' but no. No. Never happens.
That was so frustrating, I give this a 9,5 instead of a 10.

The son of the Queen Regent's brother, who could not be king because he had polyomyelitis and went away to live quietly somewhere, and a high-status woman the Queen Regent killed. In other words, he's royalty.

I found the first two thirds excellent and the last third a waste of all the potential it showed up until then. What happened?

Yes, they were both ''useless and stupid''. They were young, good-hearted privileged people who had lived very sheltered lives. They needed all those episodes to get to the point where they can start winning against their adversaries.

The beginning of the first episode reveals the ending and the rest is sort of a long flash back... That is not a problem though.

I trust the writers, the director and Song Joong Ki. (the other members of the cast I'm not familiar with).
So I'm not too worried about that, it will probably be at least pretty decent.
I'm more afraid of it being cancelled or something, cause now I absolutely must watch it.
