does it has happy ending plz clear answer & thank u inadvance
Aww. There is also a huge difference between killing each other and fighting each other, being betrayed by their feelings and then ending up commiting mutual suicide because half of the pair is about to be captured and/or killed by the other half's army. Truly an ending that leads to catharsis through mercy and awe. Uncle Aristoteles would approve. And if he doesn't, I do. I love this drama ^_^
But I do get hair-pulling endings. Thank you for telling me about a Love to Kill. It looks like a mess. An ending that doesn't come organically and unavoidably from what happened before is just so frustrating, isn't it.
First I thought it was meh, then I thought it was pretty good, towards the end I thought it was actually bad. Ji Sung is so freaking beautiful though, and he does a nice job with the character, I see no other reason to watch this. That's sad, because that was exactly what I thought about the Great Seer too. I'd love to rewatch it in HD with my finger on the FF button.

I haven't seen A Love to Kill, what was so provoking about its ending? It's been a couple of years since I've watched Jamyong Go, so let's see how much detail I remember: Jamyong and Hodong totally love one another but they are bitter enemies too, he killed her dad and enslaved her people and everything. So they meet and have a talk and a swordfight that lasts for the whole night and in the morning they hug and she stabs him. He's just wounded, she stays with him with his head on her lap and they talk some more. The bitterness is almost gone. And then his army shows up and when she is about to stand and fight them he holds her in an embrace and stabs her in the back so that the sword goes through him too. They reach some understanding, exchange some epic last words and die together. I'm such a sucker for this sort of ending.
Try to avoid this show....the first episode kind of gives away everything.... kind of pointless to watch the entire…
Ah, it's not the end, it's the journey there. That's the point. If they wanted to give us a great journey, they accomplished that, and on the way we get to understand the main characters end their possible expressionlessness.
I'm sorry to say that the first part, which was essentially about *children* getting *married* creeped me out. The grown up part was to boring to salvage anything. I seem to belong in the tiny minority that doesn't adore this drama, sadly. I'd read so many good thinks and was really expecting to enjoy it.

A bit late to answer maybe, but no happy ending here at all- it ends in tragedy and bloody death (and I personally loved it for it). But despite this and the hastily made ending it is actually one of the best dramas out there.
I just wanted to make a comment about the ending. I didn't think it was as dark and pessimistic as people say. I think that the tiny glimpse of hope it offers is more profound and true than an actual yes-we-made-it happy ending would have achieved.
Delightful and lovely drama. Really sweet. For those who want to watch a hero's journey but with a non-violent hero and also amazing soundtrack. And a young Jang Hyuk. What's not to love, really.
The comic this film was (very loosely) based on is really good, though. Also, what's with changing the title? Do they think that we, the international audience, need ''Blades of Bloooood'' to see a movie? What's wrong with ''Like the Moon Escaping the Clouds''? They do that a lot, ''Like a Spark Like a Butterfly'' became ''Sword with no Name'', for example. (I don't know who ''they'' are. The title people)
I agree in general, but you know what. I liked the thing. Had an overall nice time watching it. But the reason I'm writing this comment is that the name thing is explained quite adequately. The prince had the family name Lee and an one-letter given name, Sun. The pauper had no family name and a two letter given name (made by the main female lead) Lee-Sun. They might even be different letters that sound the same, but I'm not going back to check. And I think they established the reason why the substitude must have the same name kinda sorta acceptably well. Anyway.
I don't know where to start praising this drama. So I'll just mention the amazing soundtrack.
I was a bit hesitant at first. I thought ''do we really need another Hong Gil Dong?''. And yes, yes we did.
