I don't know about that. In my opinion, his flirts at the beginner were more of a defense. A way to get the topic off what he didn't want to talk about. Those flirts are starting to be less about being sneaky and more about liking him though. He also is being more open. Finishing the sentence was probably just related to them both being helped by Dika. I also think he'd be less emotional if he traveled from the future. More time would have passed.
With that said, it would make sense for a main character to be the time traveler if someone did travel. Ayan just seems too obvious. I dont know why I was thinking there is more to the new teacher. haha I honestly don't know who could be from the future if someone traveled already. But the time travel thing might not even happened yet.

I think part of his actions is spurred by his denial about being attracted to Ayan. Making him see Ayan as "bad" in multiple ways. Breaking his current ideals about the school and himself. Perhaps.
