i was watching this series from afar, being really excited about it for a long time since the trailer dropped…
I mean first trailers are usually not how the show turns out in general. They seem to be there just to show the overall idea and get responses. The show typically isn't being filmed or close to being filmed. Actors can even be changed...usually not the main ones. They are meant to be exciting to pull you in. I don't usually watch trailers so I cant really give my opinion on how misleading it felt to me. It's probably best not to compare the two though. Is the main thing im getting at. You don't know if that style would have actually worked with the story in episodic form after all. More because it's not over yet.
As for the coloring, it could be lacking. I personally like the band being blue instead of the obvious red. There might even be good reasons for that change. I think the vibe of the show fits for now. When things get potentially darker the atmosphere should as well. Time will tell. I feel like the story is treading the line of super serious and lighthearted. It's not as gritty as Not Me--maybe because it is set in high school. Yet it touches on some serious issues that are probably going to be revealed or looked at more in depth as the story continues.
Yeah, I was like...why did this scene not bother me at all? My favorite part was Ayans flustered reaction. Maybe…
I loved Khaotung in 2gether. Favorite character and he was no where near a main character in that. haha I was happy he got a main role in Chonlatee, but I had to drop it. He did fine there for what he had to work with, but yeah.
The ridiculous fall into the kiss nonsense that never makes sense was redeemed by Akk putting his own seatbelt…
Yeah, I was like...why did this scene not bother me at all? My favorite part was Ayans flustered reaction. Maybe that's why...it was a normal 'oh shit that just happened' pause from both of them before Akk hurried him out.
I'm starting to worry about the cast - I think the producers may have abducted their families and threatened to…
About Tess, it seems his nature partly stems from not wanting to conform to his parents wishes. In the other world his particular parents are gone. He doesn't really have a reason to rebel. Instead, he will learn what life is like when you don't have everything and aren't expected to do this or that all the time. He might even learn about editting and find it interesting...or at least start to understand how the industry/company works. Which would make him, perhaps, rethink things.
With that said, Talay wouldn't know why Tess seems to be so hated or if those feelings from the people he meets are completely justified. He doesn't actually know what Tess is thinking either. So you are probably right. Talay, being concerned about his new job...should be worried. I mean even if he gave up on the new job still being there he should be concerned in general.
I consider 7.8 a very good rating. Well above average, which would be 5.0.
Yes, when rating for yourself. I think the problem is that the ratings here rarely go below a 5 and typically anything below a 6 is just not good. From what I can tell about public opinion on this site. Many might start to not even consider a show resting at 7.5 or start questioning if it is below an 8. In reality, when it comes to rating.. 5 is technically average, but what people are really looking at is a smaller scale of 6-10. Which is probably why things get questioned around when I mentioned. To go even further. BLs are only rated, currently, at the top around 8.5.. so the window is even smaller. So compared to recent BLs coming out 7.8 is a bit low but not horrible.
both of these (SCOY and WoY) don't deserve this rating! I really don't understand this site or people who rate…
I went into SCOY knowing that type of comedy is not for me, but I wanted to give it a chance. I dropped it, but I could tell it was good. It really was a case of just not for me. The friendship group seemed great and the stalking wasn't harmful. Plus, it's good to see something that definitely happens in real life. Something that isn't touched on often because of how creepy it might come across.
That one bit made you dislike the show? That's unfortunate.
I do agree that some scenes can hint at more of the same. Im usually right when I am worried about what the story might turn into based on one bit. At least when it comes to my own likes/dislikes. With that said, I dont feel like an accidental kiss is a type of scene to indicate future bad writing. At least not by itself--especially when its a bit different. Still, its a super unrealistic situation. Ayans reaction is reason enough to have it in there for me. It shows a certain side to him. Which could have been done in another way Im sure, but for some reason it just didn't bother me. I enjoyed it. The accidental kiss in uh Kiss Me Again was more ridiculous to me even though it could be more likely...maybe. I'm not sure if it was the long stare thing or just not seeing a reason to suddenly fall.
Anyway, I can see the potential for more silly tropes trying to be done differently I suppose...and how it could be annoying. But its not a hint at lazy writing when it comes to the whole school situation and how they might develop relationship wise. Which is more important to me. At least in my eyes it doesn't hint at overall lazy writing.
I haven't watched KP yet. It was as if I felt it might not be what I hoped. If it is more like you said it makes me want to watch it less. haha

It was more of a looking at another possibility type comment.
Thanks~
haha
Kidding kidding
