they could've used the last two episodes a lot better, we didn't need a conflict as every other bl does, they…
In Theo's defense, he was drunk when he found out Akk didn't reveal the truth about his parents. The people you love the most can hurt you the most as well. Akk is that person for Theo. Which is probably why he didn't want to see him and switched his focus on attempting to fix something he felt was fixable when deep down he knew it was forever broken. If his parents got back together than he can pursue his relationship with Akk without worries. Honestly, the issue with breaking down his romance ideals probably needed more time to be worked on.
That's a good point. Why was Akk insecure with the gossip? He wasn't bothered until the friend said something about it. I feel like Akk was shown to be easily influenced. If someone brought something up he'd honestly think about it--just a bit too much. Going into a worried overthinking spiral of doom. haha It happened with the gossip and when the sister suggested that it was possible Theo wanted/found someone better.
I feel like the sister acted out of character at the end when she said that stuff.
This show probably would have been better as a first season of getting together and a second focused on their insecurities/romantic ideals. The title wouldn't fit for the second one . . . unless a French Enchante came. I am suddenly making up a new story now. haha
I binged this all when the last episode came out and I am glad I did. I definitely feel that this was a drama…
I actually like the amount of time spent with the ambassadors. Just enough for me. If they didn't show an brief update for them I'd probably have wanted more, however.
I also basically binged it. For me, I agree Theo is selfish--to a degree at least. Their communication could be better as well. There was no hint at that changing in the future, but their actual relationship just started really. Just because they've been friends forever doesn't mean they will navigate being more intimate easily right away. That's probably why I wasn't particularly bothered by certain things.
It was a simple and cute story with some interesting characters.
I guess this show isn't for everyone, but I just loved it a lot! The pacing is very different than in the usual…
Yeah, the story was interesting. The drama wasn't drawn out with regards of the four potential Enchante's. I liked some of the characters and acting. I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was enjoyable.
I had fun reading those comments too...I have never seen a fandom so united in bashing their own show...😂 I…
The interesting thing about it is the bashing wasn't too heavy. It was mostly centered around one thing and if you asked about what they thought about everything else you might find nothing much to seriously complain about. It mostly came off as annoyance to me. It wasn't a deeply written show, but it had cute moments and some interesting characters.
I am not so sure Bad Buddy has much to do with it, but it could be the overall improvement of BL in recent years…
Yeah, I think that happens with shows sometimes . . . that come out close together. At the beginning transition period, but it dies off as the current series continues. It is at least how I've seen it happen. At the same time, no matter when something came out . . if it is close enough in type it will be at least somewhat compared. Such is life.
I personally found this show very enjoyable. I feel like ppl are being a bit hard on it *partly* because it followed…
I am not so sure Bad Buddy has much to do with it, but it could be the overall improvement of BL in recent years leading to certain expectations. I did enjoy it, personally.
And Akk actually commented that he didn't deserve Theo. Jimmy looked good but I thought his performance was a…
Oh yeah maybe but I felt like he was given a lot of slack . . . maybe I didn't notice the stiff opinions because I didn't join until Bad Buddy was almost over.
