Yeah, there needs to be some substance. It doesn't have to be heavy mature topics among the fluff, but still. Just like I can't really rewatch something that's super serious (and nothing else) even if it's amazing.
But I think most people can connect more with funny fluff. It probably makes people smile, laugh and feel good easier. The age groups more attracted to that kind will most likely be larger as well.

Yeah, I love OhmNanon and MaxTul. They feel a bit similar to me. I like how MaxTul seem to be really close friends and I hope their relationship stays strong. I feel like OhmNanon is like a younger version of that--potentially. Their relationship seems beautiful and I hope it continues to be. But it's possible people sleep on MaxTul because their series have been more mature overall. Not fluffy and cute.

Honestly, I think Akk's sister was used to convince him not to fight for what he wanted. Putting silly ideas into his head when she has seen less interaction between Theo/Sun than Akk had. Even though Akk is selfless he hasn't shown to be a completely mindless pushover--so it would have been weird for him not to object to some degree. Hence why I think the sister was used to bring unnecessary doubt. Of course Akk should respect Theo's decision. I agree with her on that part, but that's different than flat out not putting your thoughts/feelings out their to discuss.
