Yeah, I agree. I think Pran might feel somewhat indebted to him. Since it appears like Wai was his first friend and the one who helped him after the move--when he was down. It is possible that is why he somewhat let's him get away with his shitty actions. Should he do that? No. I ended up dropping a friend who I knew needed me (I was her only long time trusted friend) because she turned toxic while already being a difficult person (who was progressing in the past). I gave her chances though. It is what it is. I get why it's a hard thing to do, but in this fictional world it turned out fine. Haha

Yeah, same. Then again, I'd definitely just flat out ask, nicely, when it's a good time to do so and not in the middle of an altercation. haha Then say something like 'well I'm here if you ever want to talk' when they refuse to talk. It is what it is. I don't think I've told literally everything to any one person after all. I can't really expect others to tell me everything either.
Nd pran already allowed prat to post in social media abt their relationship, so the main issue may b outing to…
Yeah, true. Pran was warming up to the secret social media prove of them being together and would eventually be okay. Not to mention the fact that Pat and Pran got to be more open after--so in a way he accidentally helped them. Haha
I think this show was set in an universe with no homophobia...so the crime committed by Wai is actually revealing…
Yeah, you may be right about P'Aof going with the 'it's not as big of a deal with the changing times' outlook--as a way to focus more on other things. I think he did a good job of addressing it while not making it a main focus--personally.

No no . . . I was saying he was testing his friends reactions. He probably never talked to them about liking someone since he's always liked Pat deep down. So it is possible they just didn't know his potential preferences. That's all. Pran is always in his head anyway. He's not the type to be like 'yeah I like guys' for no reason. I was saying his apprehension was about what his friends thought about him liking guys. Just like he was obviously happy when his mom didn't care about him liking a guy.
He seemed fine with the fact some rando was hitting on him, in my opinion. Just thought it was weird in how it was being done I think. After all, he was curious enough to try and figure out who it was while debating about going to the rooftop. Hence why he couldn't say anything in response to Pat's question of 'so exactly why are you up here'. It was highly likely he was at least a bit interested. Otherwise he could have just ignored the meeting as a way to say he was not interested.
Another question I had today was after re-watching ep 9 !! I was thinking why would a series doing everything…
So when I was first watching I was leaning toward Wai being a real shit friend (even though I try not to assume). That's not what happened. Thus, when I watched a second time I reacted to him differently. Wai has manipulative tendencies under certain circumstances and impulsive anger issues. The latter everyone, even himself I'm sure, knows about. He also sucks at admitting fault and/or apologizing. Which people also know and probably have accepted within the friend group. Knowing he is probably more likely to do something to redeem himself instead of say it. Now when addressing the manipulative part. I know someone that's generally a good person who has such tendencies to manipulate under certain circumstances. To be honest, I don't think she realizes she is doing it most of the time. It's not unbelievable to find someone in the middle gray area. Someone ignorant of what they are actually doing. I feel Wai is somewhat similar. He has probably gotten used to Pran giving in and sees nothing wrong with what he is doing--because no one told him. There are some signs of him actively trying to manipulate though. Like when they were at the bar talking about Pa being Pat's sister. I felt he was manipulating the conversation a bit to get Pran to talk--and it worked to a degree. Not that I'd say that type of manipulating is super bad, but he should have been upfront about what he wanted to know. Anyway, Wai has a potential to grow and that was more so shown with his slight acceptance of Pat during the rugby match. I think the gun situation was more of need to speed up the issue since they had limited time to address that and the parent stuff.
As for the outing. No matter what kind of world this is set in--that's a horrible thing to do. Period. It was obvious, even within that conversation Wai heard, Pran wasn't ready. With that said, one action does not typically make a person horrible or unredeemable. In my opinion. It depends.
In the end, I like the fact that Wai was in a gray area leaning more to a toxic friend. Someone who could possibly grow and change. Would I have been with a friend like that for years? No. I don't got time for toxic people when they are not in the mood to grow for the better.

I don't think it's totally lacking homophobia. Mainly because I didn't get the impression Pran was open about liking guys. When they were talking about the neighbor flirting Pran said something like 'but it's probably a guy because of the particles being used' when they were saying the person was hitting on him. To which they were like "so". That would imply that he may have been testing the waters. Not to mention the fact that his dad asked "what if he brings home a guy" to which is mom said "so" as well. That also implies it's not completely set in a no homophobia world. Same with how Pa said "I thought you'd say 'I'm not gay I just love Pran'" or whatever. Those things were said to point out current issues, but also wouldn't make sense to be said if there was no homophobia in the fictional world. With that said, I would say Homophabia is probably not as present in their world.
I don’t remember if it was ever discussed here, but Ohm had a very unpleasant/unfortunate outcome of a friendship…
Yeah, I remember that. Some think he didn't try to get too close to his costars after Toey because of the past situation, but with Nanon already being one of his besties he basically had to be confronted with a potentially similar situation. I'm glad they worked it out~
I love BounPrem and that's exactly why I'm saying this. I can't be the only one disappointed with the trailer?…
From what I heard, it seemed like their past and maybe even relationship was questionable in comparison to Dean and Pharm (not talking about their past selves past). For me it depends on what was actually going on there--not that I'd want an actual hit to happen. It seemed like there was a lot behind Win's reaction. Stuff we currently have no clue about. The trailer really gave no hints as to the actual storyline. It was a bit disjointed, but at least things are moving forward. Prem did great with the broken singing scene though~
Okay I need help understanding one scene which however number of times I watch still confuses me just a little...it's…
No, I think you are correct on all accounts. He first seems to be like 'why is he treating him that way' to then get upset about the all important guitar he painstakingly kept safe while hiding it from his family. It meant a lot to them both after all--in different ways.
I've seen a similar edit, but the sudden change in song when Nanon "loses it" is so funny. I can't. Was that the…
Also, Ohm was the only one that stayed in character and didn't start laughing. I noticed in the other situations whoever AJ was trying to do the stare with would laugh right away for a moment later. Tay did second best I think. Haha
There was also a jump between them being where AJ was before moving to where Ohm was originally sitting. Sus. Nanon also technically "slams" his water bottle down after they do it when AJ is saying something. So I'd assume it was more related to that than the staring thing.

I know right!? He was like . . . why did Drake point out Ohm? Why do they need to get close when no one else attempted to? Why is this taking so long? WHAT WAS THAT!!!!!!!!???????????? Oh HELL NO! Talking about the touch/getting even closer part for the caps bit. haha
I've seen a similar edit, but the sudden change in song when Nanon "loses it" is so funny. I can't. Was that the first time AJ touched someone and moved closer during this love stare thing? haha

Not that I know them.

I'm analyzing this too much. Pffthaha
