Pretty sure it was a glitch . . . the current numbers don't/didn't add up. I think it happened to all the BL shows. Short lived over 9 ratings. Sad. Haha
Not Me is coming for Bad Buddy wig! Finally deserving rating, let's make it 10.
If you are talking about the over 9 rating. That happened to all the BL shows it looked like . . . but now they are back to their previous ratings. Sad days. haha
We welcome different opinions about Bad Buddy. It might be a cultural difference, or the fact that it is done for…
There is always someone who may get super upset. It wasn't said with anyone particular in mind. haha I mean you can't help how you feel, but one can make efforts to not make it worse and try to react the best they can. Thus, someone upset or annoyed at something can either become super upset or not--depending on how they handle it.
Good god!!!I love this movie, it was funny and cute!!I have to admit that knowing seohyun and Jun as idols years…
Yeah, it was great (just watched it). I totally didn't realize they were idols until I looked up the song from the ending credits. haha I liked they show of a different, not so talked about, relationship. It's one of the reasons I like Kimi wa Petto as well. Which of course the two relationships from the shows aren't like one another. You get what I mean . . . I hope. haha
To be honest, there’s an easier answer as to why you feel that way about their chemistry/dynamic. Much less…
Well said. I also think people see sexual tension differently sometimes. I feel it is usually reserved for intense strained type of love: like enemies to lovers. Whereas this one, for me, seems like a mix of the childhood friend and enemies to lovers. The latter being more of a on the surface thing. Making the tension more of a frustrated longing/confusing than the hard-hitting sexual tension. I mean same with the romance part. It's cute, but also not super romantic feeling because of the friendship aspect--like you mentioned.
I mainly mentioned the culture thing in relation to Thai BLs as a whole and not really the show itself. Since I feel it is somewhat common to forget when we are watching something from another culture. Which has their own laws, socially accepted things and so on.

I don't think I was around when you commented, but I totally understand the stated as facts type of comments people sometimes make in regards to anything they really liked or disliked. It's good to get excited just as much as it is fair for anyone to get annoyed at such over exaggerations. Personally, I have learned to just ignore such factual worded comments (which are usually opinion based). People are free to show their excitement or dislike for things how they see fit as long as they aren't being rude. I also realize how whoever comments in the "best/worst ever" type of way probably doesn't actually think that. After all, it is a bit impossible to really think that since there is no way someone has seen/heard/etc everything created by every single human in the world. Thus, you couldn't be able to state your opinion as "best/worst ever" in reality. What they are most likely saying is "best/worst ever for me based on what I've experienced so far". Knowing that is probably the case there is no reason to get super upset about it. This is just a personal opinion of course. Just like I am not offended how you stated your own general factual sounding statement with "you and the rest of this comment thread most certainly do not welcome different opinions if they are negative". There have definitely been knew people posting here after all.
Oh my gosh . . . yeah, I tend to like a lot of Japanese ones but there aren't a lot being made at any given time.…
Oh okay. I just didn't want to assume I knew what you meant even though I thought it was what you just explained. Haha no worries.
It might not be all cultural differences . . . so who knows. It'd be nice to hear your thoughts after watching more types from Thailand.
Ah, the link below is probably good enough to explain. I'll explain my opinion in regards to the show though. Personally, I see it as a display of a certain degree of closeness. I think that's why, in my opinion, Pran was either a bit standoffish or actively pushed Wai away when Wai was displaying his appreciation/thanks. At least that's the way I took it. Both of the times I'm thinking of Pat was there.
This is literally the first Thai BL I've ever seen, I've always watched Japanese/Korean BL, and I'm not a fan…
Oh my gosh . . . yeah, I tend to like a lot of Japanese ones but there aren't a lot being made at any given time. I have a hard time connecting to Korean ones, personally.
As for this being your first Thai one . . . there might be culture differences which lessen what would be seen as tension and/or intimate moments. There are even some phrases not translated well that imply how they are active sexually or whatever. As for an example of culture differences . . .I didn't know, at first, about the importance of sniff kisses for them.
For me, I like Thai BLs almost as much as Japanese ones. There is a lot to choose from, however. Some fall completely flat while others are amazing. There are even some which aren't only about the BL aspect.
As for the actual show, the ending was somewhat open ended in my opinion. At the same time rather positive. It showed the slight growth in acceptance with the parents in what was probably a more natural way. Also, I think someone mentioned as a culture it is less likely to talk things out than to just let it settle or something. I forget the specifics. Anyway, it also showed how happy and strong their relationship still is and if they are happy being how they are currently than that's all that matters. Honestly, why care about the parents problems with each other. If they end up dealing with it or not doesn't matter, personally. As long as they aren't putting their shit on their kids and messing with their lives anymore.
Oh also . . . I'm not sure exactly what you mean with the feeling you want to get from being intimate. But I see their interactions as playful flirts. Besties who are dating. Not super romantic in nature. Just being themselves--and I love how their relationship is showed in such a way. After all, not everyones relationships, friend or lover, is the same. Yet, in romcoms we are usually shown a particular way of how things should be.
You'll be surprised, we have been overtaking each other for the past few days. ):)Challenge accepted (Just kidding)…
Honestly, I think it is a bit odd to rate or talk a ton about a show before it even airs. Partly because it could end up failing hardcore and seem more popular than it should be. It'd be even worse if it ended up getting cancelled. Never to see the light of day. haha
It took me some persistent encouragement to have my BF watch BBS. He’s not a fan of Asian BLS to speak of. Heck,…
Honestly, it's good to hear an opinion like this. Mostly in regards to the OhmNanon relationship. I'm not a labels type of person myself--and sometimes people don't really get it. It'd be nice to have a strong relationship which goes beyond those things.

The elevator "fake out" was perfect in my opinion. haha

Anyway, hope he liked the show overall.
