I started to watch this because of my mermaid in drama obsession. I ended up dropping it in the middle of episode 28. Female lead is extremely annoying, the guy who likes female lead is extremely annoying, the girl who likes the guy who likes the girl is a sandwich short of a picnic and also annoying! Haha the rest of the cast were good. I loved the the doctor and his girlfriend. They were cute. The remaining cast were my reason for continuing but I couldn't continue because of the 3 annoying characters. There was also no chemistry between the main cast. I felt it was very forced but the drama was funny at times.

I read "5 reasons why Water God is gonna be better than Goblin" which is stupid. I hate when people compare dramas and I personally didn't like Goblin and only watched 5 episodes.

So weird my comment keeps getting cut off. My full comment was: It seems all the positive comments are being buried. People were obviously expecting it to be like Goblin (snoozefest) or the manga. My friend didn't even make it to half way through episode 1 and I was curious so I watched it and I liked it. I had no expectation and just enjoy the drama.

When I first watched it it wasn't so bad at the beginning but then it start dragging. I hated the second couple's storyline but it was Bu Fan and the kids that kept me coming back. I also enjoyed the banter/bromance between Bu Fan and Bo Hai. The first lead hopefully has improved on her acting. I have since watched it multiple times.

this was my first ever drama which I've watched multiple times. Annie needs to work on her acting especially the crying scenes but apart from that I liked the story. I don't normally watch dramas with cancer involved but it was interesting. Shi De's sister way beyong annoying and her romance was a bit creepy. It did drag for a long time but I got through it.

Absolutely not! If people are fine with the Goblin age gap, then a 12 year gap is nothing! I like Hae Sung and Jung Won together too.
