The latest episodes were better. I think my problem with the previous episodes has a lot to do with the fact that its a game. Stuff happened that I think was unnecessary.

If you liked W as much as you say, I highly recommend you avoid this and this is coming from someone who tries to encourage people to watch Thai dramas and tends to prefer Thai versions over others 😂
I liked it until about 8-10 ~ can't really remember which episode ~ but its going downhill in my opinion. I think 24 episodes is unnecessarily long for a Thai title but I am led to believe its due to the fact that its a collaboration with China and its pretty common knowledge that they like to stretch, drag and insert fillers whenever and wherever possible lol.
Having said all that, if you're not a comparer (I notice a lot of people are!) and you judge it on its own merit as I like to do, you may view it differently.

Okay so whilst he went to look for FL (she was kidnapped), he got into an accident and his mother moved him to another hospital. When he recovered, he lost his memory. When he asked his mother who she was, she told him a pack of lies which made him hate FL but she did everything to get him to remember their relationship whilst he did everything to drive her away.
Its not as bad as it sounds as they do still have plenty of scenes together, funny scenes I might add so its not your typical lakorn :D

That first one already excludes Japan but particularly Thai Lakorns. Its not always possible because to watch legal they need to license and even when they license its not always subbed or you STILL need a VPN which I'm pretty sure is still illegal.
I have pretty much all subscriptions going except for Viki, Kocowa and iQ just so I can watch the countries mentioned legally when possible but if they're not providing dramas for the countries that I like (with subs) I will just continue watching via fansubbers. 🤷🏽♀️
