Nam Joo Hyuk is very underrated by the industry. I think he has done various performances to be at least nominated at some big awards, but hes never there. Always overlooked. I hope he gets more recognition in the future.
If this drama was only 6 episodes and no romance, it would be a 10/10. i was not expecting that the second half would be as good as the first, but I though it wasn't going to fall into the typically kdrama cliché. I just don't understand why adding a romantic interest if this is going to be poorly explored.

Ok, that's your point of view. I respect it, but not shared. I not an expert in cinematograhphy, but I don't think I need 20-25-36 episode to find out if the drama is gonna be something different to 'ordinary'. That's on me. If im wrong or right, it depend of each individual. I'm not claiming to be the owner of the truth.

I just gived you the reason of what I was expecting an hour ago. I don't know if you have reading comprehension problems. I'm gonna repeat you again. Your assumptions are wrong and has nothing to do with my point. How many times do I have to stated it?
and again, good for you. keep watching it untill the end. if you need 36 episodes to judge it, go ahead. :)

I don't understand why are you pointing out things I didn't even mention. Yes, characterization takes time, but if in 11 chapters the drama doesn't show anything different in terms of characters and the way these are portrayed, I think it's not worth it. I understand your assumptions, but I think you are wrong, at least with me. If you are enjoying it, good for you.
I personally believe that most of chinese dramas lack good characterization and good characters in general. They all feel shallow and Lost in the Kunlun Mountains is great proof of that. The plot is interesting, but the indroduction it's just too vague: OH YEA THIS HAPPEND YEARS AGO IT'S AN IMPORTANT MATTER BOY, OH NO, THE BOY LOST HIS MOM BECAUSE OF HIS FATHERS JOB AND NOW HE DOESN'T WANT THAT JOB, OH I GUESS I HAVE TO FEEL BAD ABOUT. SO BORING. T_T
Not so sure how to feel about this first episode. In terms of special effects it was really incredible, only this aspect could make anyone to watch this drama until the end. Now, even tho I liked the story and dynamics, it wasn't something very new, and it was a little bit predictable. I guess at some point, it's inevitable not to have these things. Still, looking forward to the next episodes too se how it goes.
I'm on episode 6 and unill now it's quite decent. It's not the greatest drama ever but it's entertaining and the main leads actually have chemistry, or at least they don't act like emotionless people. Even if it is or not a remake of STIR u can clearly perceive the difference. Everyone is being so dramatic about it. lol
It's people's rating!!!There are lot people who doesn't like that movie!!...In here the rating 8.2 it's a good…
I know it's theirs. My whole point here is that for me this drama deserve so much higher rating compared to others. For example, A love so beautiful (one example of many) has 8.4!!!! I just don't see how a drama with a very stupid and retarded concept of love and life can have higher ratings than Our Blues in where u find topics and characters very much close to reality taking decisions like ACTUALLY HUMAN BEINGS. This problem is almost the same with Josee. Most of the people give low ratings to these kinds of dramas/movies only because they are '''boring''' and '''slow''' according to them. For me, that's not an enough reason to prevent others from watching it. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINIOON. :)
