War of Faith was such a great drama and very worth of the time. Everyone involved in this project did an splendid job, especially the director and actors. I can name at least 4 characters who could have their own drama just becuase of how complex and deep they were.
For me, this drama goes way deeper than simply pointing out who's the bad guy and who's the good one. I think it shows us the suffering and struggle of the people as a result of this war. I'm glad not to be THAT small-minded as to not give this drama a chance just because 'it promotes communism'. People really don't feel ashamed of saying that in 2024?
This drama is so good, but I hate it sometimes because of the editing. For example, in episode 32 they put a very long montage of Jin Zhen and Ruolai feeling sad about Shen Tunan's news. It's way too old-fashioned. I think we know already why both of them are so sad and her reaction when WRL gave her the news it's already enough.
Incredible episode. I think Jin Seungjoo as a villain is a very solid pick. Since young, he's been subjected to his mother's idea of power. Of course, this would shape his worldview and moral compass. Even with not that much screen time, it's the most logical answer and it has been very well constructed.
Or what? Did you guys prefer that his mother were the bad guy? Or some random guy who appeared in less than one episode like Seungjoo's real dad? in my opinion, that's the real epitome of cliché.
this episode was great, kinda sad that the leads barely interacted after they catched Bori. I wasn't asking for anything necessarily romantic, but at least something meaningful between them after eveything that happened. i wonder why the director decided that.
yeah, anything could've happen. we don't have any context and explanation rn. I don't understand why ppl are going…
most of them are just frustated people who wait for something or someone to hate. i bet some of them just readed a tweet and then came here to express their opinions like they know all the true.
