And what about those who defend them in court and destroy the victims' lives, and these are mainly women with…
They, or at least in Attorney Cha's case, did not hurt or ruined someone “on purpose”. She, and other attorneys, were/are hired to defend their client.

Unless you have proof that the attorney have a personal interest in the client they're representing, then you shouldn't take it personally. The issue is between you and the one the other side is representing, not you and the attorney on the other side.

Like the other previous clients in the previous episodes, you are assuming that a court battle is between you and the attorney. It is not. As Attorney Cha eloquently explained to 2FL's mother regarding her stress and psychologist consultation, it was a stress that came from between her and her husband, not the attorneys.

You cannot blame the attorneys for just doing their jobs. And in a field where being picky can limit your experience and potential clients, there is no room to be picky. You just handle whatever case you are assigned with, after all, you picked that career.

If you truly want to find someone to blame for the hurt, ruin, and destruction of a family, as this is the show's theme, there is only one to blame for that, the couple.

From what I read, the writer was also a divorce attorney, so there's a lot of experience to draw from."The series…
Yes, that is correct.

Not all of attorneys do it “for the money”. It's just part of your chosen career. Even in other fields, there are situations where you will be forced to separate your personal principles and beliefs from your job if you want to survive. I know, I've been in such situations more than once. (EDIT: just to clarify, we're not talking about corruption and compromises)

Attorney Cha, in this case, at least as far as E01 to E07 are concerned, made it clear she only defend her clients because that was what she was hired to do, and has kept her personal emotions and beliefs separate. No hints so far that she did it for the money.

Even the way Attorney Cha separated herself from the “blaming game” her clients are unconsciously doing, like in E07, that's a sign of a person who separated their personal from their career. I would've said the same thing to the 2FL's mother if I heard that.

I can't help but suspect that either the 1FL or the 2FL is an alter ego of the writer. They story of both characters are far too personal and tied together, and the interactions and reactions, way of thinking, are so natural and not made to please the audience.

I wonder how much of the writer's personal real life experiences was mixed in. Or, her colleagues's?

While it is frowned upon to base characters on real people, even your own self, if you do it right it is acceptable. And many mixes different people into one character to get away with it. ^_~ (Nothing wrong with that, again it's acceptable if done that way.) Even real cases are acceptable as long as it is not exactly the same.

So, whoo… it's hard not to suspect at least the two FLs's story are from actual real life experiences. It's too personal on so many levels. Too many little details that normally are not included in fiction.

Ouch. Another delay. It's not easy to have delays in a daily-format drama because this format is weekly-theme-based. A one episode delay already messed the flow, now its two episodes. T_T

In any case, it's only up to E120 so… I guess it's tolerable since only a few weeks worth of episodes left.

Maybe it's something like conduct unbecoming of a senior employee (which she was made i'm guessing haven't watched…
Hmm… good point. FL probably waited for the this moment to officially identify who the mistress is.

ngl I'd be devastated if the kid chooses to abandon her mom. I realize she's lacking but still 😭
My bet is, she'll demand them to stay together or she'll go to an adoption center.

If she can't be granted that by the court, she'll pick her mom at the end of the day. Especially since I think the mistress told her she should choose her mom. Recall that the mistress doesn't want to adopt her, it was only the father who wants to.

Oooh. Do they have a similar law in the Korea regarding …
… if you are above “Rank & File” you are no longer under the Labour Code's protection against unjust termination? O_O

I practically expected that scene to end that way, but still I was surprised by it. I mean, here in the Philippines, if you are no longer a “Rank & File” employee, you can be terminated for whatever reason. Only R&F employees are protected by the Labour Code, and the Labour Code listed which reasons a R&F employee can be terminated for, with proper procedures and all. (Anyone above R&F, if they have a dispute, they have to go to court.)

So, that scene, I expected it from a Philippine perspective, hence I was surprised it went exactly what I had imagined it: “You're fired”.

O_O

Anyone who can shed some light?

So far, E63, she started her plan. It ended with her baiting everyone; letting everyone see her and Ujin hugging each other.

Not sure if they can clean up the ratings. In other sites, if there's an obvious manipulation, they clean up the ratings.

This is an obvious manipulation, the dumb people are even creating new accounts just to rate this show with 1-star.

During the scene where ML was teasing the FL about her drawing and Eunjung almost fell…… that looked like…
Not sure either, the way I understand “ad-lib” is if it is not in the script but the actor intentionally added something. Maybe it's “blooper”? But a “blooper” is something not included in the actual scenes.

Yep, it was cute. Maybe that's why they included it. Hehe. Or maybe, they just chose not to retake because she already fell asleep. ^^;;

Yep. It's going to be a challenge.

Also, what makes DR's case even sadder is that, if she dissolves her adoption, she'll become ‘legally” a “stranger”. If she marries SJ's brother, she'll become part of SJ's father's family, not SJ's mother.

I'm not sure if they have laws against letting someone not relatd to you to live in your home without declaring them as adopted or charging them for rental/room fees (just to establish the relationship). There are countries where you can't do this, otherwise you might get into legal troubles.

Yep, it skipped 1 year. And yep, the revenge plot starts this week. Last night was the surprise introduction. Tonight, I think it will be setting up the new conflicts, since she was introduced as the niece of a very influential, wealthy, and well-known person. The way they presented them, they can buy the entire group or force them to bankruptcy.

Did the writer watch the Mexican 90s drama, “Marimar”?Haha.
The scenes were so predictable, very close to how it happened in Marimar. ^_~

The bullied, once poor, turned out to be a long-lost relative of some very wealthy family somewhere. Disappeared for a while, and returned with a very high position in their clan's companies.

And she was introduced to her bullies who were trying to partner with their company.

To their surprise…

LOL.

I sure hope the next episodes won't be:

a. The former victim is now hell-bent on destroying her bullies, bringing them down to the mud, and making sure everyone knows their evil deeds, and everyone will see how they are licking her shoes this time.

b. She no longer cares about anyone, not even those people she loved and who were at her side when she was being bullied. Why? Because it's the only way to bring the entire clan of her enemies.

In other words, the two sons will become collateral damage because they're part of that evil family.

c. Her target is to buy all her enemies assets, including every company under their name. If she can't, she'll ensure the downfall of their companies, and expose their crimes so their assets will be seized by the government.
