During the scene where ML was teasing the FL about her drawing and Eunjung almost fell…
… that looked like it was real, Eunjung fell asleep, lost her balance.
The way both actors reacted were also real. When EJ playfully punched/slapped him while laughing, and Sung Hyun's surprise reaction and laugh.
I mean, if you've been in that situation or have seen it happen to your friends, everything they did were so familiar.
And when you analyze it (I had to rewind multiple times), there just wasn't anything that could have made Eunjung suddenly lose her consciousness and fall like that.
If that was actually real, yep, that's the life of an actor. They usually stay on set and film as many scenes as they can with very little rest. So please, appreciate them and their shows. It's not an easy career to have.
is it ok SJ s sister [ in papers ] , to date SJ s brother , in SOUTH KOREA ?
Like in many other Asian countries, probably no. That is why her younger brother is acting that way, because he knew there's going to be a problem.
It is similar in nature with ML and FL. The ML's adoption should be dissolved first before they can date even if they are not blood related, because socially, it is not acceptable.
There is also the legal aspect. If I will take a guess, Korea's legal in this matter is similar to ours here in the Philippines, any one declared as legally siblings can not have any romantic or sexual relations. The only exemption to this rule is that if they were already married before they were legally declared as siblings (for example, their parents got married -- there was another daily K-drama which tackled this).
So, FL's younger brother dating her adoptive sister, it's definitely going to be an issue socially, and more likely than not, legally as well.
Like the ML, Duri must first dissolve her adoption under the FL's biological mother, because in their case, the FL and her younger brother are half-siblings / blood related, there's no way to go around it.
Due to airing of the Paris 2024 Olympics, ep.61, which was supposed to air Saturday, July 29, 2024, will air on…
> that's what has been said. but what's the real reason?
That _is_ the real reason, nothing else. ^_^
Korea is very “addicted” (if you will) to sports, and international sports where they have a representative most especially. TV networks compete to get exclusive broadcast rights, and at least three big networks (if I remember correctly) in Korea got exclusive broadcast rights, and these networks happen to be the ones who also broadcast highly sought after dramas.
1. It's a 5x daily drama. 2. It's 30 minutes per episode. 3. The target audience are people who are staying at home and talks about the daily drama they watched during the weekends.
The hell is this rating??? What clown rated this so low?!?!? I really liked the first episode and I'm invested.…
Because there are immature people who cannot separate their political affiliations from fiction.
As far as those fools are concerned, everyone is guilty by association. Like this show, it is an adaptation of a US story that was an adaptation of an Israeli fiction.
Simply because of that association with the US and Israel, they are cancelling this Korean adaptation.
They should look in the mirror because if their yardstick is “everyone is guilty by association” then they themselves are guilty as well. They should cancel themselves first based on their own faulty logic.
They're cancelling this Korean show because the original FICTION author was unfortunately born an Israeli, like they had a choice in the matter. /facepalm
He was so “unlucky”. It wasn't his fault in the first place:
1. The motorcycle was speeding. 2. They were both on their right lanes. 3. Then the motorcycle swerved to the left and approached the car and got hit.
Analysis:
A. It's safe to assume that Korea has a law against reflective this and that which can blind other people. So, more likely than not there was no reason why the motorcycle swerved towards the incoming car.
He did not swerve because he was blinded as well.
B. Based on the scenes, the car drivr was blinded because the motorcycle swerved, and the reflection from the motorcycle or the rider's helmet, blinded the car driver. Which prevented him from reacting fast and early, or to even avoid the motorcycle that was suddenly on his lane.
C. I think what the rider tried to say to the car driver was, “I'm sorry”. (1) He knew it was his fault; and (2) he also knew what's going to happen next, regardless if he dies or not.
D. Since he was speeding, and he suddenly swerved to the opposite lane, one possible explanation was that he accidentally hit a rock which could've led to him losing control. If he wasn't speeding, he would've have been able to keep control or the motorcycle simply rolled over the rock; especially since his tires should be able to handle it (it's thick, not slim-type).
Another possible scenario, he simply lost control.
Yet another scenario, the motorcycle was defective.
---
Which brings us back to the car driver. He got unlucky.
Of course, he also did a mistake, he should've called it in.
Sure, he was shocked. Having an asthma attack. A kid who just visited his mom, which no doubt devastated him and thus he's emotionally “unstable” or “challenged” at that time he was driving. Which all led to him not knowing what to do.
However, he already initiated the call. He should've at least finished it after recovering from his asthma attack. After that call, he can run if he wants.
Save a person's life first.
BUT, then again, if he did what he should do, there won't be a story to tell in the first place. LOL.
That guest kid, her last scene was very touching even though she didn't say anything. Her simple facial and head reaction was more than enough to convey her innocent thoughts.
If she will pursue an acting career, she'll have a successful one. They should enroll her this early in acting lessons.
But, if she will not pursue an acting career, I hope she'll see this short message of mine one day that I she did very well and I was touched. /respect and /appreciation
I mean it’s not that we didn’t knew the President was the villain. What I don’t understand is why he hired…
It was only hinted, the President hired him because he knew he knew he is the most corrupt and evil person in the company, and he genuinely cares about the company itself.
There are indeed people who are like that in real life. They are fully aware how dangerous they can be and wants someone to put them in check, or someone to eventually stop them because they can't stop themselves.
The President in this case is like that. He's fully aware of himself and cannot stop it. So, he hired the most competent auditor in Korea, hoping, deep inside, that he'll be able to stop him (the President).
If the auditor failed. He'll just find another auditor, and another, and another.
There are also people who enjoys a challenge. People who intentionally finds the best because they love the thrill of having a fearsome opponent who can stop their “evil deeds”.
However, in this particular case, the President isn't like that. He is bordering that, but at least in this story, he cares about the company, he just can't stop himself doing those evil and criminal things. He wants someone to eventually discover his wrongdoings, but someone who will clean up the company first.
Which is what happened. The company was cleaned up, and the last one is him (the President). It is the reason why he did not go ballistic or anything. When everything was solid and he knew there's no way for him to weasel his way out, he quietly accepted it without any resistance. Because… as far as he is concerned, his objective was achieved.
It's hard to understand such mindset, and that's good, because it means you're a good person. ^_^ But, yeah, there are people like that, and as I mentioned earlier, some even do it because they enjoy the challenges. And some who are far worse, they just want to prove no one can stop them.
I like how the President and VP have a mid / long hairstyle. It's about time to give male characters more liberty in their hairstyles, instead of the usual clean cut. There are men who looks better with a mid/long hairstyle instead of a clean cut. W need to see more of it.
If this was a 16-episode series, this would've been a mystery/crime drama. ^_^;;
* The FL is a spy. * The ML, while not in the military, was trained well during his service, probably in the special forces.
And one-by-one, members of the village started dying.
But the village people were united instead of divided. They helped each other instead of accusing each other.
Later, they found out, it was outside forces who were murdering people. Foreign countries who wants to keep the status quo, a divided Korean peninsula. Ironically, China and Russia on one side, and the US on the other side.
In the end, the FL, the ML, identified and eliminated the foreign elements, and the village people has proven to the world that a United Korea is possible and the only way forward for all Koreans.
Oh, let's not forget, the FL and ML eventually fell in love. It was, after all, the whole point of “Love Andante”. ^_^
Anyone who is good in identifying the actors, at least from E01 and E02? So we can update the cast list?
The old cast list and the new cast list are too confusing, and I'm not good in identifying celebrities (not even in our local scene LOL).
This is the only way to fix the cast list for this show, at least until Lifetime Korea and/or TVING releases their own cast list… which unfortunately, I still haven't found any.
Other reliable sources don't have a cast list other than the 2 Main and Support characters.

The target audience for this format are people who stays at home, and talks about the show during weekends or during their downtime.
A lot of the scenes in daily dramas were shot in studios, and they're always facing the camera, like they were on a theatrical stage.
2. It's 30 minutes per episode.
3. The target audience are people who are staying at home and talks about the daily drama they watched during the weekends.

No. It's a “what if”, to quote myself: “If this was a 16-episode series, this would've been a mystery/crime drama. ^_^;;”
Scroll up a little bit, you'll see a comment of mine regarding E02 behind a spoiler tag because I mentioned a scene in E02 in that post.
