Waste of effort anyway. No one cares about ratings on MDL. The de facto sites are IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, trakt.…
As far as affecting the shows because of ratings on some non-Korean site, I doubt it will have any effect.

For example, shows and genres that are often bashed here on MDL are popular in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, to mention a few.

What's happening is that:
1. MDL is not a choice, if not unknown, in those countries.
2. People leave negative/low comments/ratings more than they do with positive/high.

#2 is understandable, even in real life issues, the loudest are almost always the opposing side.

Humans today send to speak out their emotions when it's negative, but keeps quiet if it's positive. We tend to bring down others these days, than lifting them up.

For example, in Twitter, people will dig up your pass tweets just because they can. Don't call them out lest you want to be the next target.

Basically what it is like with "Ktizens".

True. When it comes to Asian shows, we're lacking a reliable and reputable rating site. Not much data from the common ones like IMDb

They're wasting their time and effort. LOLs.

who cares aslong if they can debut..i think its kinda nice and refreshing to see foreigners winning.Because korean…
For me, I hope the only Korean is Seonwon. And Hyeon-Ju, half-Korean, half-Filipino.

The rest, aside from Elisia and Gehlee, should be the Japanese girls.

As far as competition goes, it's a huge challenge for Japanese girls to compete with Koreans. Well, even in non-competitions, Koreans are highly favoured over Japanese.

If this nyw girl group ends up being dominated by Japanese, I think we can truly say that the Korean idol industry has finally come full circle.

People have forgotten that the Korean idol industry originated from the J-pop idol industry. If what I'm wishing for happens, it will definitely shake the idol industry in Asia.

It's going to send a strong message that non-Koreans are as good as Koreans, probably even better. And those judges are big names in the Korean scene, especially Kim Sim Jeong who herself came out of a survival talent show.

For me, this new group is that one chance to show that non-Koreans can stand head-to-head with them, even though we do not have the same rigorous training methods.

Speaking of that, it will also shake the Korean idol industry itself. They will finally understand that extreme training methods are not the key to success, rather, it's about talent, skills, and character.

They might even start pushing for major reforms in how they do things, and give more protection to their talents. Who knows? Hopefully, this group can show that, and F&F won't copy the other companies.

Time to shake the idol industry in Asia.

Never forget, in K-drama land, the the character that appears trustworthy in a mystery/crime genre is usually…
Yeah, all the characters are suspects. I stopped trying to figure it out. LOL.

Even the main character, I can't tell if it was her imagination or real. Definitely a mix. Some are real, some were imagined. But I just can't tell which. They're not leaving any clues.

In every episode and scene, they will lead the audience to certain directions, only to change it later in the episode or in the next episode.

The writer should write a spy novel instead!!! Hahaha. The detectives and military folks will love it.

Title A Time Called You Spoiler
Oh. They messed up the time of her death. She was murdered Min-ju October 13, 1999 not in 1998.FL arrived July…
Interesting.

In that case, I guess that's one of the things they changed.

In the original source material, she did die in 1999. So, I was under the impression that when they were filming, they originally made the timeline shorter; and while they were filming, they decided to include the Christmas scene from the original material, forgetting they changed the time of death in their adaptation.

“SBS’s Girl Group Survival Show “Universe Ticket” Cancels Seoul Concert”“Unfortunately, we must inform…
At this point, it's pretty obvious at least half of the 8-member group will be foreigners and underage. There are Korean visa and school issues to consider.

They probably only checked this when it became obvious there will be foreigners in the group. (I guess they only expected Korean girls to win, so they didn't check earlier.)

Anyway, this is F&F's first foray into the entertainment industry, and with foreign talents at that.

“SBS’s Girl Group Survival Show “Universe Ticket” Cancels Seoul Concert”

“Unfortunately, we must inform you that the “UNIVERSE TICKET Tour in Seoul” concert is cancelled due to E-6 visa transfers for foreign performers and academic issues.”

In fairness to F&F, this is their first time in the entertainment industry, so that's fine.

I strongly believe that you never break the Bro Code, you never cross that line, but only the writers are to blame…
Q: Are you going to wait in line because a friend of yours courted the girl first?
A: No.

I've been there. The girl was actually making for me to make a move, she was literally ignoroeg the other guy. What would've happened if I "waited in line" when the guy won't even stop?

As is always said, "May the best man win". :)

Q: If you love someone dearly, would you still him/her?
A: Yes.

Someone did that to me. I've experienced it first hand.

Out of stupid "revenge", I myself stole someone else's girlfriend years later.

99% I won't do it again, not because of some "bro code", rather, because I know what kind of relationship comes out of it. Which the idiot me already knew in the first place, but I still did it because my ex was stolen, I want someone else to experience it too. Which again was stupid.

As long as there are no legal and religious issues, All is fair in love and war.

Don't let stigma control your life. I am autistic. For years, I chose to "hide" because of stigma.

When EAW premiered, I told myself, "enough is enough, I will fight against discrimination, prejudice, and stigma".

The "bro code" is simply the gentler label for social stigma. Stigma that, like it or not, what people like to whisper behind people's back.

I say, let them talk! If that's their happiness, then I contributed to their happiness.

Again, no legal and religious issues, then "All is fair in love and war" and "May the best man win".

^_^

And why would you let what other people say affect you?

If you love the ex of your ex, go for it. Don't let other people dictate who you can love or not love. As long as you are not violating your country's laws (or religious beliefs) on relationship (cousins for example), love each other!

You're asking me if I would do that? Yes. If I'm interested, it's a resounding yes.

Again, the axiom: All is fair in love and war.

The real issue is, should you tell the girl or not. Because it is true that the girl will be the one who will carry that burden, while the guy gets himself free from it. The girl will more likely be awkward, but the guy won't. Unless the girl thinks like the guy as well.

However, "bro code" in love and war? No. "All is fair in love and war" is an axiom that stands the test of time.

Betrayal is part of "All is fair in love and war". ;P

If you agree to it, then you know there is no such thing as a "bro code" in love and war, because all is fair.

I don't usually criticize opinions here but the statement that Yong-pil's life has been entirely revolved around…
Exactly. As someone who is going through that, I've silently told myself that "I'm tired living for them, I want to do things for myself". If my world revolved around myself, or my exes, I would have lived on Mars already.

So, yeah, in a way, Yong-pil is relatable. Different circumstances, but similar in many ways.
