Yeah. The 2ML seeing her mother alive is going to be blow to him, and he'll probably hate the Minister even more.

The baby she was holding wasn't real. Notice how the baby isn't moving or making sounds, and how it is entirely covered. The Minister also knew so he didn't act like there's a baby.

That fake baby is the result of her coming back to life after being clinically dead too long. It damaged her brain and jumbled her memories. At least from what we know so far, she got stuck in the moment when she was nursing the 2ML.

As to who is the father of the 2ML, at least what was established was his father was the murdered king, the son of the queen mother.

If the former queen was already pregnant before she got married to the murdered king, it appears that only she knows. Not even the minister is aware of her secret since the Minister is ready to kill him. As far as the Minister is concerned, the 2ML has the eyes of the former queen, so he's trying his best not to kill the 2ML.

However, if the former queen was indeed harbouring a scandalous secret, we can only hope it never gets exposed. The normal, at that time, reaction is to wipe out the entire clan of the minister as well as the former queen, including the 2ML.

But there are only 2 episodes left, so if there is indeed such a secret, I don't know how they'll cram yet another new twist in two episodes.

Exactly. Even if different people share the same beliefs and convictions and standards, it doesn't mean they have 100% similarities in that belief.

Like in this case, one doctor might feel uncomfortable with recommending abortion. But another doctor, who share the same belief, is fine recommending it.

I wouldn't call it tolerance, because that means it is indeed wrong, rather it's knowing that our personal beliefs are our own. We can share it, but it shouldn't be imposed. Again, like in this episode, the hospital staff made the process, or lack thereof, so that the teens won't get an abortion.

It's possible the former queen have some bits of memories. It could explain why she was trying to escape. She even accidentally met the 1FL in one of her attempts to escape.

And that's going to be a major scandal. The entire family of the minister, the former queen, and the 2ML, will be killed for that. The queen mother can just watch as all the other ministers demand wiping them all out.

It's an old info when I was reading about the discovery of penicillin. There are many interesting herbs, some were thought to be poison but if you process it correctly, it turns into medicine. Or, if you combine with another, the potency goes down and you can then use it for other purposes.

The world of herbs, poisons,and medicines is very fascinating.

- The murdered king was the 2ML's father. His queen is the mother of 2ML.

- Meanwhile, the current puppet king is the father of 1ML. His queen was the murdered mother of 1ML.

- Lastly, the queen mother is the mother of the murdered king (the father of 2ML). She is the one using the 2FL because she looked like the former Crown Princess (which is the 1FL also).

It was the 1ML's mother the 1FL was accused of assassinating, not the queen mother, and not the queen / mother of 2ML (a.k.a. The Lady in White).

I think in her mind, that fake baby is her son, the 2ML.

But no, the 2ML's father was the murdered former king. Maybe there is a slight possibility, but that would mean the 2ML and 2FL are half-siblings, unless she was adopted.

Exactly. He should've informed herr something so she's mentally prepared, it could've made a huge difference.

Re: abortion

Personally, I don't agree with abortion unless it is for the survival of the mother. HOWEVER, if it is what the mother wants, it should be given regardless of what your personal take on it.

In other words, if I was the doctor, I'd still recommend abortion if that's what the mother wants—whatever their reasons are or lack thereof (maybe they just want to). My personal belief is my own. I can only apply it to myself. I judge myself based on my personal standards. I cannot judge another person based on my personal standards.

Are following with the logic?

If only more people understand this logic, there wouldn't be an issue to begin with. Many, not all, of our social issues started with imposing our personal beliefs and standards on other people. You can only apply it to yourself, not on others.

If you don't like it, then either quit your job or cut-off your relationship with that person. Move on. There are 8 billion people in the world, and for sure there are jobs that suits your personal beliefs and standards.

P.s. This is NOT about religion. Havieg a belief doesn't mean it is related to religion, although yes, it usually is.

P.s.2. Of course, no one is perfect and we all make mistakes. We get emotional too. That's understandable. I also frequently say how one should rate shows (and git emotional about it). 😆 It is a learning process for every single one of us.

"Comedy" doesn't mean every scene and every episode is comedy. Genres refer to the overall feel. At least half of a show is this genre and that genre.

Also, in real life, people do find comedy stuff about something or laugh between themselves, but it doesn't mean they are not taking something seriously. You could say it is their way of coping with it.

For example, custom support agents do find a lot of support cases comedic. They'll laugh about it. Talk about it. Remind themselves about it. But they were not laughing because they were not taking it seriously. They do. They aren't even laughing about the person in most cases.

It's the same here. No matter how comedic they were in the office, it doesn't mean they were not taking the case seriously. If it's time to be serious, it is serious mode.

So, the comedy genre is referring to the office dynamics, not to the cases they're handling.

To add, the time period is later "mid Joseon" up to mid "later Joseon". They already have access to other herbs that makes someone look dead, even cough blood, but is actually alive. If this was set earlier than that, from what I gathered, they didn't have access to that herb yet.

In modern days, we've learned that if someone is clinically dead for too long, the rist of brain damage gets higher. It's why when someone suddenly returns back from the dead, they had to go through all sorts of tests, they need to know if the person's brain was damaged in any way, and if so, how it is affecting the person.

The story is a complicated mix of real people who were deeply hurt, and all want revenge. It blurs the line on good and evil. Not only that, almost every character did wrong themselves.
