I'm suspecting it has to do with the idea that "big names will never take on anything other than main roles because it's demeaning for their career". A few years back, there was an account arguing about that because people were submitting corrections to the cast list, and their fave actor was actually "support" only. π They won the edit war, MDL sided with them. LOL.
Earlier this year, there was a show where a character was marked as a "support" when that character only showed up in two episodes. Meanwhile, characters who appeared frequently and had far more screentime were marked as "guests". π€£
LOL. MDL listed MiNa as "main role", she didn't even had 10 minutes screen time and her character was only there as a plot device: to get FL to discover Seoul Perms and to see a snow globe. π They really don't understand their own labels. π€ͺ
Truth. But at the same time, it is reality. Very few actually honors confidentiality. Humans cannot hold something…
Yes, but again that's being human. She trusts them with her life she can casually talk about things with them.
There are very few people who can actually keep their mouth shut outside of formal training, most especially when it comes to spouses and best friends. In this case, it's a BFF (best friends forever) situation. They trust each other that they'll bring things to their grave.
Also, if one is worried that their bff will tell their bff, then you shouldn't consider them bff. Unfiltered information shared with bffs cannot go outside of them. If they want to share it, they're obligated to filter information. They cannot be bff if they can't be trusted.
If anything, the important criteria is, "Are we placing them in harm's way if we share unfiltered information?" If no and you trust them with your life, then you have an option to "open up" or "share the load".
In the Western show, Foundation, in S03 the robot had to share with a human all the things she's been keeping secret for centuries. She's a robot and she has a need to do so. Her only advantage, they nave tech to remove those memories after their session, and return it for the next session, so the robot doesn't have to worry about higly confidential State secrets leaking. But it's similar the need to share unfiltered information.
It's so hard to explain. Personally, I have my internal trust ratings. I know who will bring my unfiltered information to their graves, and who can't be trusted even with hypothetical information. Trust is everything. Like that robot from Foundation, we occasionally need to share to keep ourselves mentally and emotionally healthy.
Not when you wake up after 25 years, is living in a student building, have no food, no money. Your sister hates…
Also, you have to think how she felt whenever she sees her current self in the mirror.
It is not easy to build yourself, but it is very easy to crash. She can do it, as you've said she already had the confidence and experience. She just needs to pick up the pieces and find her missing memories. Especially now when her missing memories are the key in solving her problem and the very reason her life went to ruins.
The FL really has no professionalism or work ethics. Among her many mistakes, she apparently has forgotten about…
Truth.
But at the same time, it is reality.
Very few actually honors confidentiality. Humans cannot hold something a secret or not discuss it with someone for very long. Otherwise, it would have been easy to take a job in an intelligence agency.
It is also the reason why many companies with trade secrets to protect rejects anyone with a family member or close friend who might have a conflicting interest. If possible, they'll hire them all.
We humans will share information sooner or later. Very few untrained people can truly keep quiet about anything.
So, even though the FL is not supposed to share information, they actually depicted the reality of things there.
Now, I'm oversimplifying this, there are far more nuances and dynamics at play wherever confidentiality or NDA are involved.
Okish episode 9 and 10. The ML was had screentime less than the secondary characters. I wish they would focus…
I understand where you're coming from. But, you know kdramaland, they mix everything. π It becomes a matter of, which writer and director can successfully mix everything. (There cases where it ended up a mess. π)
I hope they won't drag the missing memories too long. By today's episode, we have confirmed pretty much many of our hunches as to what those missing memories were about. π

Haha, that part of their past deserves a short spin-off, a webisode or something. It's an interesting plot.
Yep, I really hope they don't suddenly disappoint us after leading us to a certain direction. π Some final twists just aren't worth it.
And yes, she could have asked her sister for help and information.
