So that's it? But how is she hearing and seeing ghosts now?Funny and scary at the same time.
Real ghost. Remember, she was killed by fellow humans. She wants to take revenge and found FL in the subway and used her for her revenge. She even guided the FL in circles in the subway, from getting equipped to leading her back to where the murderers are.

After that, she showed herself to get her to a safe place. Then she left her without revealing she's already dead so the FL won't freak out. Revenge done.

Hey I have some questions out of curiosity what is the relationship between zombies and alcohol like why they…
It was the ghost. She was the voice the FL have been hearing in the subway.

She's like taking revenge on those humans preying on other humans. To get her revenge, she guided the FL around the subway. She was actually running in circles but the FL didn't even notice it.

After the people who killed her died, she finally showed up and led her to a safe place; and eventually left quietly, pretending to be still alive so the FL won't freak out.

They tried to copy «Warm Bodies» (2013) but failed because they added far too many subplots and focused on too many characters and unnecessary scenes. (This is about the live-action adaptation of the novel «Influenza» («인플루엔자») by Han Sangun (한상운).)

it’s karan’s sister, she has the ability to stop time (if i recall correctly), in the book it’s described…
Ahh! That's why the scene showed the gun disappearing from his hands. I thought FL reset the time somehow even though she's still under the no powers within 24 hours after bleeding rule.

Thank you!

I wonder what or who convinced the ML to take on a TV role. He's more on movies. According to some celeb interviews I've read before, it's not easy to transition from the big screen to the small screen (and vice versa). The demands are different. The acting required is different. The time and effort are also different.

His acting here is actually showing movie-level acting. It's powerful even though his character's screentime is less (at least so far as of E01 and E02). Good thing Eunbin can match his movie-level acting, otherwise, their scenes would be very weird; or he'll overwhelm her. (And well, Eunbin also have a good number of movies under her belt, so that helped.)

They did pick the perfect actor for the male character. Otherwise, the reverse would've happened: Eunbin overwhelming the male actor.

Them together is a very good balance.

I hope the supporting cast are doing well. 😅 Those two are so powerful and overwhelming.

She's a bit of a psycho, uh, Eun Bin never disappoint with her roles 🙏🏻
Not a bit, she is. All geniuses have psychotic tendencies (or psychotic if you prefer). It's why in science, there's this proverb that genius and psychotic are two sides of the same coin.

The thing is, because of what happened to her, she lost control. Sure, she's picking her targets, but it doesn't mean she's only a bit psycho or a bit psychokiller. She is. Killing is only an outlet to satisfy that thirst. It is addicting. So far, she still has some guards on herself, hence, she isn't a serial killer… yet.

I actually suspect her professor also murdered people, it was why he's deeply concerned about her and tried to make her see reason and to slow down. It was probably how he was not surprised she killed someone. He perfectly understand her mind because he himself is a genius.

It was also, I'm suspecting, why he is so sure she won't kill him or paralyze him, because he noticed that she still have guards on herself; otherwise she would've been a serial killer already. As his friend/secretary always told him, they are the same and he's seeing himself in her.

The way he smiled, it was a feeling of pride. And the way he denied he likes her is one genius/psychotic denying they have a competition. Did that make sense? If not, congratulations, you are not a genius hence no psychotic tendencies. 😝 If that made sense … welcome to the club. 🤣

I'm glad to see she got over her Attorney U acting. There was still a little bit of it in the first few scenes of E01, but that was it. She studied her role as an autistic so well, that acting got into her next project (and the probably didn't notice it).

This is why she's a top-rated actor, she can take on any role. Psychokiller is the hardest to act, it can get into you if you're not careful. Which, no doubt, she's aware of since she's a psychology graduate.

I'm wondering if she's a genius IRL. I mean, she's one of the few actors I've seen who acted a very good psychokiller. Other actors who tried it were either underwhelming or obviously trying hard. If you're a genius IRL, you have an experience, at least countless of private thoughts.

that's not ex gf .. i think it's her family member(cousin or younger sister) (her family has a special super power…
Ahh! I thought it was her ex-gf.

Yeah, it makes more sense if she's a family member. Abilities often runs in the family bloodline.

Re: pain, it just appeared that this new character is experiencing far more pain than 1FL. Maybe it was just their acting, especially since 1FL is a new actor (but she's doing great for her role!)

If it doesn't, then the Baeksang means nothing anymore.
But that is only if they will submit their show. These awards, you have to pay to nomitate a show, and pay for each actor to nominate them.

They also watch the competiton. If the competition is tough or too many, they avoid nominating. They can nominate in another awards body or wait for next year.

It all comes down to the production and producers if they're willing to pay for nomination. And of course, if you'll nominate a show or an actor, they come hand-in-hand. It is rare today to only see a nomination of the show but not its casts, or vice versa. (They get discounts if they nominate everyone and in multiple categories. 😝)

Award bodies & events have been that way since the mid-1990s. Pay to nominate. It turned into a multi-million dollar business. (Even in books!) Gone are the days when they actually consider all works and actors for a given year.

They showed IU acting as both mother and daughter, they could have also did the same for Park Bo Gum instead of…
Making guys look younger or playing both young, old, or another character, seems to be going out the window. Look at the show My Dear Nemesis, only the FL played the young and old versions of her character.

It seems that the trend in Korea today is no longer let guys play young and old; or young parent + teenager child of that parent. But for women, it still is fine to do so, like IU in this show and other shows.

Other possible reasons for this casting change:
2. Train and expose the next generation of actors. Which is good. If they don't get experience, the next generation won't be as good. I actually want them to stop it with women too, give the next generation actresses more exposure and experience.

3. The guys are too matured, it won't be easy to make them look younger (or older). Or, weird if they play both the parent and the child of that parent. But if you look at women, there are so many ways to do it through make up, hair styles, and so on.

4. The guys were not interested.

5. Maybe during audition, they didn't pass so the casting director had to make a decision to cast another actor. It happens. Often originally the wanted to cast the same actor. But the actor they've chosen just doesn't fit the other character or a different time period.

Any of those reasons, probably more.

This hits a bit too close to home for me since I have such parents, who were poor and did everything to bring…
The time between 1950 to 1980 was a period where it doesn't matter how many children you have. For them, it's a blessing. Also, birth control was frowned upon and taboo.

It was only around 1990s when things changed.

Skip, I am still waiting for my fav celeb. It still doesn't take away from the charm of the story if you ask me.
Exactly what I'm saying. This show is a missed opportunity for many because once they are in a similar situation, they wouldn't remember any of it because they selectively watched scenes instead of watching the episodes in its entirety.

So, 1FL's ex-gf can also time travel?
Or, wait. She did not time travel, was it red to symbolize blood and life? She gave a portion of her life to 1FL so she won't die?

It's good if you see the charm of the story, it means you're still paying attention. 😉 It's just that there those who selectively watch the specific scenes only. They fast-forward everything else.

Nothing wrong with it. However, the missed lessons are useful later in life. I'm GenXennial, and I myself am wishing we had these type of shows back in the 80s and 90s so we know how to face the world.

For example, that episode "Life goes on and on". Sure, we often heard that but it didn't made an impact. But through this series, the right episode to tell that "Life goes on and on", it was impactful. It's "damn, I wish it was explained that way to us when we were young" or "I wish I had a mentor who knows how to tell impactful stories".

Sooner or later, we'll all face some of the circumstances in this story. Even if we didn't appreciate it at first, once we're in the same or similar situation, we'll remember the stories we've read and watched. It's better than grasping to understand things, because we tend not to listen to people when we're depressed and angry; and once we're alone it's the things like books and tv/movies that we remember and "listen to" (even though that's what the people around us kept saying in the first place).

Again, nothing wrong with selecting scenes of fave celebs, but it's a wasted opportunity to pick up something. Our brain can store a lot of things, and can remember it once we need it. 😉
