Yey. Kim Gaeun is back! But her acting and character is different this time. Less cuteness and less free spirited. Hopefully they'll show her usual acting later, and those facial expressions and voice.
there's one thing I've never understood about kdrama. Why do they come into the classrooms at night? Are you going…
It's possible, not every school have the same set up. Also, you can hide or give different reasons why you're still in the premises.
I'm from the Philippines, my school years were from the 80s to 90s. There were times I overstayed. Times when I come early when it's still dark. Times when I went back inside and asked the guards to let me in because {reasons_here}. But not every school I've been to allows any of it. Some are very strict, especially after naughty scandals, bullying scandals, inter-school gang wars.
It was weird 김민정 (Kim Minjeong) wasn't in the final episode, I suddenly thought "maybe, she was indeed pregnant IRL". And, yeah, she was. She gave birth only last month, January 2, 2025.
I wonder if the baby photo they showed was her real baby.
It's very cool for the writer and director to mesh in her real-life pregnancy into her fictional character.
I'm always fucking wrong when it comes to broadcast times. In fact the episodes how from Sunday and not Monday.…
Home country: 00:00 everyday.
It's only ambigous if it's written as "12:00 midnight Monday", because it can mean 00:00 Monday (that's Sunday/Monday) or 24:00 Monday (that's Monday/Tuesday).
Since Korea uses 24-hour system for broadcast time to avoid confusion, 00:00 Monday is 12:00 of Sunday/Monday. If they wrote it as 24:00 Monday, then it means 12:00 of Monday/Tuesday.
However, MDL's countdown timer is relative so just calculate it to your local time.
Example, as of this post, the MDL is showing (round-down) 13 hours. My timezone is UTC+8, so that means current time "10:00" + 13 hours = 23:00 for E10 ( = 00:00 Tuesday KST).
My personal conspiracy theory is that they killed eve in the end because she "killed" the morulas, maybe its a…
There was nothing political about it. If you did watch, they provided at least three endings, so pick whichever you want. If you chose the main ending, good, but don't drag in abortion. If it was about that, they wouldn't bother filming two alternative endings. They even showed the best one earlier so people can say, "watch until XX:XX mark only".
How many years was this drama in the news? Then got delayed again and again , and then released to such a negative…
LOL. You got everything in reverse. You get better reviews in on TMDB and IMDB, but MDL is filled with trolls & multiple accounts rating & reviewing shows they don't like.
As someone who've read a thousands of novels, the show is fine. The thing is, they're telling the story as if you're reading a novel, not as a comics/webtoon or live-action.
It wasn't the first time someone tried this, but I haven't seen this method in live-action productions for, what, 10 years I think.
And that makes it more interesting for me. It's like watching a novel instead of reading.
They'll eventually cross paths, an episode where it'll be the two of them. That will happen in the "climax", unless they make a major leap and ML found an answer (it still is not a novel, so they really have to skip).
Since there are only 10 episodes, they'll probably skip and make them meet/talk in E05 or E06. We need the "climax" now to avoid a "rushed" ending.
Let's see if they can pull it off using this method. (Only experienced writers/authors can pull off this method properly.)

I can imagine it's the same in other countries.

There's one show I'm still waiting for someone so fansub in English but already have Arabic and Turkish fansubs (to mention only two).

Option 1: They lived happily ever after. This was the first they gave. You can say, "Just watch until XX:XX mark".
Option 2: She passed away.
Option 3: ML returned to Earth, did not recover, met someone else.
Oh wait! There's Option 4!
Option 4: ML returned to Earth, did not recover, but got back together with 2FL.
When there are _no_ alternate endings, people create their own. When there _are_ alternate endings, people ignore it.
When writers provided alternative endings, they still complain, "The ending is garbage, blah blah blah!"
🤷🏽🤦🏽
They even positioned the best ending earlier so people can say, "Just watch until XX:XX mark". But nope, they still complain. 🔈
Even in webtoon it's the same method. He really is a very good author, he knows his craft well to the point he's consistent with it.

And I bet if you confess properly, you'll break her curse too if it was real. 😝
Wow!
By any chance, do you know of a non-idiot screenwriter that you can recommend? Maybe you have written ones yourself?
