I believe the article to be well written. Even though there are glaring holes in the plot (especially with regards to the survival of 2 of the heroes!), it is still an enjoyable drama with great acting all around. After reading all the comments and watching news on how 'big' this drama is in East Asia and South East Asia - I do believe that most of us react to the heroic elements of both the male and female leads. After all the dysfunctional heroes and heroines in most dramas; we are, by and large ready for a hero who saves the day, looks good and is loyal to the female lead. We are also reacting to the fiesty and clearly a strong heroine - in the sense that she is very much different from many female leads in most K-dramas. She speaks her mind, she is smart and very much her own person. To sum it all up - DotS - came just in time after many dramas with the same dreary plot and dropped us with heroes that does save the day and do not die! I enjoyed for what it is although certain episodes were too cliche for me! And yes, I enjoy the troop of soldiers running every morning as much as the female actors did! Well, I will wake up in time to watch the troop if I know that there is one who is going to run pass my house! Just sharing my thoughts!

Episode 12 was EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never seen that on a k drama. that scene needed a rated R warning…
Yup! It is hottest love scene in any Asian drama I have seen! I nearly stopped at 10 because it was becoming too cliche......I am also going to wait until episodes 13 to 15 are aired before watching!

One thing about taiwanese dramas have that korean dramas lack is the intimacy of the characters that just pull…
I agree with you.

This drama is progressing better than Bromance which has an interesting story to start with but has tapered off…
I agree with you Aryael...the love between the leads in Marry Me or Not is quite realistic. I just watched episode 12 and despite the audience knowing that the female lead will do the noble sacrifice thing....the love scene is hot!
