Ah I watched ep 11 & 12 on dailymotion, I think some people that live streamed it uploaded it way before Croton but it's at 480p. They usually upload it on dailymotion 2 hours before the live streaming for that ep ends compare to Croton who usually uploads it at around 2-3? AM China time.

The whole cast and team behind this drama is amazing. This drama could of had been messy & really confusing if it wasn't done well but every episode so far has almost no loopholes and flows very smoothly. Also each episode doesn't give you an overload of information or has an excess of information that will ruin the flow of the plot. I felt like each of the episodes has their own charms and leaves me very satisfied and entertained just watching that 1 episode alone.
Seems like a cute drama from the first 2 episodes. Despite the hardship, Ahn Tae Pyeong has a positive outlook in life and is optimistic about it. Even though there's hardship, he's surrounded by people that cares about him.
This type of sassy and optimistic character really suits Hakyeon.
Skimmed to ep 12 to see if her powers shows up but it still has not yet. . . . It's frustrating because the other girl is starting to believe the General more and more & she's becoming more and more jealous of the other girl. I really dislike the bad guy playing as a good guy and making the naive girl believe in him and making her turn into a character that I dislike.
The hook for this drama for me is the love-line. The military and medical aspect just adds more danger to the relationship that gives viewers more intense feelings and understand why these two are taking a while to get together and why even though they have so much attraction towards one another, they aren't officially together, as well as the problems they might encounter when they are together. Kind of like how you found your dream guy randomly in a cruise ship trip, sparks flew, both feel attraction with each other. 3 days later after the magical cruise ship with this guy, reality hits, you randomly meets him again but this time, he's going to be your step-brother cause your dad is getting re-married to his mom. You continue reading/watching to see how they end up together cause the 3 days cruise ship part made you ship them really hard cause they so cute together ;;. That's how this drama is for me, especially how charming Song Joong Ki's character is & also the sadness I feel for those soldiers that are risking their lives everyday doing missions like what is shown in the drama to help protect the peace of the world but they can't really find their other half because of how their job is like. The sadness of leaving someone behind and having that person spend the rest of their life without their other half is just really sad. Also how scary for that person that is in love, waiting everyday for news about the mission and whether he will be returning home safely.
Tbh I find the military and medical situations a bit boring so far, they are building it up right now and connecting these events together.
I also want to say Yoon Shi Jin's lines are really cheesy if you say it out loud by yourself but when he says it, he doesn't sound that cheesy at all but rather natural and smooth.. like how? it seems flirtatious but also straight forward at the same time. I find that really charming.

This is my opinion regarding Reply 1988.
In regards to Jung Hwan, he kind of lost his chances when he didn't confess to her when they were younger. It wasn't that he wasn't good enough nor that his love wasn't pure enough, it was just that he might be afraid of rejection or he was waiting for her to make the move first but it did not happen. They both might know about something but both are playing tip-toes about it, dropping hints and testing the water, waiting for either one to confess first. After Deok Sun's situation with Sun Woo, she might probably be afraid to confess to someone because she might probably be scared to get her hopes up and then to have it shattered once again. She's at the age where she found love and then realized that it might not be what she daydreamed about or what she was confident about. After the childhood period, they grew up and went to their different path, that spark eventually dies because no actions were taken. But of course there's a saying that "old sparks can come back again", and this time Jung Hwan decided to take the action but sadly someone else got there first. In the end, like what the drama said, timing might play a hand on love.
Jung Hwan's confession to her was really sad, but at least she finally had more of an idea or 100% understand that he really did like her but at this point, it was too late. She can't accept it or reject it right out front so he awkwardly said it was a joke. ; u ;

-He openly express his feelings to her to let her know she is special to him. For Secret Santa, he directly asked her what she wants and she knew 100% who gave it to her. Of course in the beginning, she was disappointed the gloves were not meant for her but he eventually did ended up getting her the gloves, he didn't really get all her hopes up and then shatter it.
-There's other moments that shows a build up in their relationship such as the trip to China. She learned another side of him and accepts it.
Just like Jung Hwan's spark died down after their path changed, the spark for Taek also died down but Taek's spark was more memorable because of the kiss, that spark was easier to rekindle compare to Jung Hwan's spark.
Anyways, this is just what I thought of when I was watching the drama. If the confession with Sun Woo didn't happen but instead happened with someone that mutually like her, like Jung Hwan, Jung Hwan and Deok Sun would of had likely happened.
