I watched 3 of them there!
But I didn't finish Who Are you School 2015 because felt really bad for Tae Kwang. I know Eun Bi would probably end up with the other guy but was hoping her twin sister would end up with him when she finally appear but nope, her feelings for him were just one for a friend. I was hoping in her time when she was away from the guy, she might realize that she misses that 'close friend', become closer and realize how much he means to her... and let Tae Kwang end up with Eun Bi.

As for Dream High, that was kind of unexpected but tbh I like Sam Dong's personality more. Usually in K-dramas and some other dramas, the guy that meets or encounters with the girl first, usually ends up with the girl but in this case it didn't happen.

For Reply 1988, I was team Taek after Jung Hwan dropped many hints about liking her but never confessed. Jung Hwan and Deok Sun would had a bigger chance of becoming a couple if her trying to confess to Sun Woo didn't happen >0<. Her trying to confess to Sun Woo probably made her rather scared of being rejected and lost the courage to ask and to confess because she doesn't want to feel like a fool again, for thinking that someone likes her but he actually liked someone else that was just close to her, she didn't want to have hope and then lose it again. Taek was always rather open about his feelings to her, he wasn't afraid to say that he likes her and he wasn't afraid to openly give her gifts without caring about people's judgement but then again Taek always had more exposure to people.

I cried so much for the brother. I feel so bad for him and so sad for him, just typing this makes me want to cry. Whoever out there in the world that is like him, I pray for those souls. It's just so unfair and cruel of the world to have something like that happen to someone that didn't do anything wrong and furthermore, he helped her multiple times. It's so sad. It helped that what happened was revealed but still, such a good person gone because of that.

As much as I dislike the fact that the brother didn't get saved, I understand why he didn't get saved. If he had gotten saved, Hae Young might not had wanted to become a cop because his brother was his ideal, role model and goal.

Also .. WHY is his brother's name Sun Woo? WHY he also got to be such a good brother figure like Sun Woo from Reply 1988?

I also feel so bad for the convenience store guy, he never learned what love and affection was and when he felt different, he killed the girl. I'm glad that his future changed and both the girl and him are alive and hopefully she can heal him.

Title Cheer Up!
I dont understand why this drama has high rating value...the story is so-so, the characters especially the villain…
Sorry, I just wanted to point out that even though the idea of "good grades students getting treated well while bad grades students won't" seems rather unrealistic but it might happen. The drama is based on Korean society. The fact that some bullying in Korean society doesn't really get uncovered until it gets on the news is something we have to question about how some school systems in Korea are managed. It might not be that easy for someone in the lower status to report their mistreatment by someone in the higher economic status in some Asian countries (China for example), even if they do, what kind of response will they get?

A lot of Chinese dramas are based on novels:
Bu Bu Jing Xin: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/bu-bu-jing-xin/
Boss and I: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/come-and-eat-shan-shan/ (COMPLETE)
UPCOMING DRAMA- Wei Wei's Beautiful smile: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/a-slight-smile-is-very-charming/ (COMPLETE)
Journey of Flower: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-journey-of-flower/
Sound of the Desert: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/ballad-of-the-desert/ (COMPLETE)
Yun Zhong Ge: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/song-in-the-clouds/ (COMPLETE)
Yun Zhong Ge is the sequel to Sound of the Desert, really recommend you to just read and watch Sound of the Desert. Don't read Yun Zhong Ge, I'm still upset about the novel, the ending was meh and the novel made me cry.
My Sunshine: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/heyi-shengxiao-mo/ (COMPLETE)
Cruel Romance: http://www.novelupdates.com/series/cruel-romance/

Some other popular C-dramas adapted from novels but not sure if there's English translations of the novels:
Nirvana in Fire
Princess of Liang Liang

Some other ones can be found here but most of them doesn't have English translation of the novel: https://hui3r.wordpress.com/2014/08/12/adapting-novels-to-dramas/

Title Moorim School Spoiler
oh my god that 'fight' scene at the beginnING I AM CRYING AHAHAHA I DID NOT EXPECT THAT AHAHAHAHA what the hell
LMAO I JUST SAW. I almost died laughing.
I didn't predict that would happen cause the teaser for EP 3 last week was like:
"Wahhh these kids knows how to do martial arts"
so expectations: these "Sassy Rich guy" & "Sassy popular Idol" can really break it out (looking forward to see cool martial art moves).
reality: "we know how to cat fight" (learns new cat fight move: forget about pulling your opponent's earrings, scratching your opponent's face is faster )

funniest thing (somewhat ironic) was before the fight one of the Moorim students says this fight can no longer be stopped cause "their pride is on the line"
On Moorim School Jan 18, 2016
I'm watching this drama with a light heart & not taking everything in seriously right now because this drama isn't really meant to be a "serious" drama so far despite all the fighting scenes we got in the beginning and the kidnapping scene lol. Reason why is because the 2 main characters: Wang Chiang & Shin Woo are still rather undeveloped and naive characters that doesn't really know the big picture yet. We still don't really know the main plot of this drama, who is the antagonist (if there is one) and there are still alot of mysteries they haven't explain because it's only 3 episodes so far, they are still building things up and building the characters up.

What I'm really looking forward to is seeing Wang Chiang & Shin Woo becoming a tag team. The 'I got money sass' with 'I'm a well known idol sass' against some poor victim + whatever martial arts they have.

It's only 3 episodes but I feel like Moorim School still have a lot of potential and a lot of different things the writer can do to make it more exciting.
For example: Moorim School becoming no longer a secret. Wang Chiang & Shinwoo becoming a duo ultimate idol group. Another school that is like Moorim School but just the opposite, an Assassin school, cause why not?
When you add martial arts, school life, romance, friendship, mystery & idk how many other categories Moorim High can be in, there's just alot of things you can do with that. 2-3 Episodes isn't enough to see what path the writer or drama is going into and if everything will be covered.

XD I wouldn't consider this drama trash though, just not my taste c: kinda like clothings that doesn't match you that you don't buy but someone else does. I stopped watching it after ep 5. It's true it's a bit unfair to look for realism in a work that is fictional but there are many fictional works in which the author incorporates real life experiences into such as "In Time With You". Gaksital?

Sorry for the late reply but I wasn't joking. There are Taiwanese dramas that are logical just like there are other types of dramas that are illogical. Well it might be true that there are many illogical Taiwanese dramas but some of them doesn't go too overboard for my taste. Well this drama just wasn't my taste, everyone has different tastes anyways.

Title Just You
Didn't make it past ep 4 .__. I saw the spoilers for ep 4 and was like "You would seriously lock your BOSS and the OWNER of the house you are staying at out on the rooftop in the middle of the night?" (seriously made me facepalm). The whole "office love ban" rule and the housing and rooming together doesn't make sense to me much. Guy isn't going to propose to you in the office cause he's scared of losing his job.. why can't he just propose you outside of work hours? And you are going to room with a guy (total stranger) that bought the house and paid you back the 4 months or so of the prepaid rent that you made but you insisted that you want to stay there because you found the perfect home and doesn't want to leave? I just find alot of these things really irritating, unrealistic and silly :l I wouldn't mind silliness as long as it connects and is logical but those things aren't logical at all. I heard that the drama gets better after episode 5 but I don't know if I should continue watching it. . .

Guys before commenting "they look old", "they don't fit the part".. etc.. read the plot of this drama... they are University students, not high school students.. and she's not a scholarship student, she got into the school through an audition. So the writer/director already thought of changing the plot of boys over flowers to fit american viewers as well as the cast. Who knows, this drama might be completely different from BOF, just the "F4", "bullying", "Rich guy meets poor girl" things are similar so far.

I don't even see how an American version of this could be made well without changing the whole story line. The…
Person means that cultures are different as in American dramas tends to be more dramatic and has more touchy-touchy involved. Their love triangles tends to be more dramatic. Part of the reason why many people like Asian dramas and perhaps gets frustrated over it is cause of the innocence in some of the dramas. They try to keep it PG, cute and all innocent. Well I can also see a rich Grad Student using his money to buy girls, which you won't see in Asian ver of BOF. And if you are going to release a drama to America, you have to think about the audience, therefore the culture difference and changing the whole story line. American people will go "WTF" at lips touching lips, they want that tongue action.

Yea the saddest part for me is that she found love and friends but lost that forever due to time. It'll be very hard to get over that especially that mutual love she lost.

Title Scarlet Heart Spoiler
Reminds me of Shakespearean tragedies. Even though I spoiled myself with the ending and knew that I would cry but thought that I wouldn't cry that much.. but I was wrong.. it made me cry.. last two episodes. I just made me so sad that before the tragedy unfolded, there were so much merriment. Reminiscing the days when they were happy together. Debating whether or not I should re-watch the beginning but thought that it would make me sad because that happiness won't be there forever. If you are looking for a drama that will remain in your heart and you'll tear a bit thinking about it, this is the drama to watch.
