I am so impressed by this drama and everything that it conveys. I have been watching Jdrama only for years so it is so different yet refreshing seeing the bts aspect of it.. I am finding fascinating all the bts content as much as the drama itself. I fell for WYB since his very 1st scene but seeing him as a fanboy irl is adorable <3

I am already in ep10 :( I will definitely watch the longer version after since I see many things were cut & while most of them you can tell what happened (like the Wen thing with Ning) I want to see it, not assume (WY meeting w/ Qing... it doesn't show when they talk or how WY comes to know what happened with the Wen clan). Ty!
Watching my first Cdrama with this one (couldn't decide for the longer edition) but it seems it is disjointed and that a first timer watcher should not watch this one first. For example, I am on ep04, Lan Zhan is hurt and limping out of nowhere?
And also, can someone explain why each episode starts with a scene, then OP song and then the real scene happens? For example, ep04 starts with Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan in Lan's home (?), WW is drinking then sleeping on the roof and LZ says quietly "I am going". OP starts and then is shows when ep03 ended, both of them in the woods fighting against that dark spirit (?).
Overall, I am loving the wuxia world but tbh these things are seriously confusing...

Excuse me, but regarding point 4 ("I read that one of the actors has it in his contract that he CANNOT kiss another male (females are okay)") it is just a baseless rumor that has been circulating in Twitter first and then it blew up. Some even asked that first one who posted it what were her sources and she just ignored it. Can u share where you read this? Some YT/tumblr/twitter comment??
I admit I also have some part of the fault because in the middle of the transmission, I said in tumblr that I didn't think there were going to be a kiss since I can't imagine (pls note, IMAGINE is not the same as "I CONFIRM") a member of LDH kissing a guy. And it was reblogged and also some comments things like "is it banned?" and from there many went "ok, it is banned" when it was only a comment!Then one was kind to share a video of LDH kissing other men, so don't take rumors seriously. There isn't ANY confirmation saying the agency banns their male members to kiss other men.
Same rumor has been circulating for other agency as well and look at that, it was BS, last year a BL was released with intense sex scenes with one member of the agency that "banned" kissing btw men.

I agree with you! Once the 3rd wheel started to happen, I lost a bit of interest. I avoid love triangles like they are the pest, and to see it is happening in this drama in such an unconvincing way... nah
I hated Toru so much... he has been with his family for what, 13 years? and far from them for more than that, he was such a nuisance of a father and husband.
The first 90episodes or so were great but then not so much for me :(
