Its a theory of what may happen

Maybe Wei gets professor out of jail, then there is some crying on professor's part and he has started hating the FL. Wei and Professor get drunk as she is consoling him, they end up sleeping together. Professor gets Wei pregnant, so they decide to get married. Wei's parents oppose, force her to marry Ye hui before the baby is born. Ye hui agrees to help as Wei is his friend. Professor goes to the US to start a new life. FL, who cares about her.

Please note that I was being sarcastic. No sequel has yet been approved.

So when are they coming up with the sequel to this titled, "Middle-aged, wrinkled and alone" with the same FL. ?
Even if it's short, lets say 10 episodes, if they make it revenge based from professor's perspective, there would be many who would watch it.

I hope Hua Hua becomes delusional and takes a romantic interest in the FL.

The FL is the definition of an asshole to her friends and especially to the Professor. This story shouldve been about a woman who tries to do things on her own merits, is level-headed and her struggles. But we get a whining freeloader who is just talk and cannot accomplish anything on her own, keeps assuming things instead of asking for explanation, and is indecisive to the point of stupidity. The only thing she does is live off the wealthy and then dump her bullshit on them.

It's better if it ends with the FL dying of a horrible disease as she recalls her mistakes in the past and dreams of marrying the ML who has finally moved on from her bullshit and living somewhere happily. She doesnt deserve him.

They can give it an open ending as long as the FL suffers at the end, the professor can end up with wei or his ex gf from us for all i care, don't make him forgive FL. FL single handedly ruins Mouse, the SML and professor's life( I won't call him ML because he hardly gets any scenes). I wouldn't mind if it ends with Huahua stabbing or poisoning FL, she would probably get a pardon for doing humanity a favour.

Another ending would be ye hui leaves for another country after the breakup, professor and wei start developing feelings for each other as he helps her with her job, they fall in love and both live a happy and carefree life. FL gets trapped in a scheme where she is sold off to a faraway merchant. Huahua finally thinks the journalist is right for her, but the journalist has already fallen for his intern. She again tries to gather attention by not eating. This time, even her parents get fed up with her and get her psychiatric help. Mouse finds FL as she is working as a servant, smiles and goes along his way.

Can people help me add more details to it.

Did you like the alternate ending? I wrote it so that those of us who wasted our time with this would atleast get some closure, not just some last episode bullshit.

In my alternate ending, ye hui ends up with wei, and the professor gets to punch the sml twice.
The FL ends up marrying the village head's son, then ends up miscarrying her child and goes into depression. Huahua never gets over her wedding issue and goes insane. Professor gets married and settles down in the US.

Here's an alternate storyline (continued after the Professor goes to jail, FL mother dies and the rich guy leaves her)
The professor is in jail where he is visited by his ex from the US. She helps him get realeased early from prison and he goes back with her to the US. Huahua finds out Professor left for the US, she goes and confronts FL saying its all her fault that professor was jailed and now he has left her. The two friends have a falling out. FL tries out anotger venture on her own, but without any help from others(her friends already left her), she doesnt succeed. She cries and remembers all the times the professor helped her and how she wishes she could tell him her feelings. She tries to search for his whereabouts in China but Huahua never mentions that he is in the US. FL feels dejected.
Cut to 5 years, both Huahua and FL have had no contact with the professor. He has become a successful businessman at Wallstreet. He comes back to China to attend an event in support of one of his western friends. FL is attending the event too. She is trying out another business venture. FL and professor see each other and exchange pleasantries. FL inquires if he's seeing anyone. Professor just walks away. The same evening FL is at the bar drinking and professor sees her. She tries to confess her feelings for him, he rejects her saying Businessman never invest in a commodity showing diminishing returns. He tells her she is no longer young and her beauty has now faded. He asks if it was all worth it. FL begs him to forgive her. She kisses him and they end up spending the night at a hotel room. She wakes up in the morning to find out he has left. She sees a letter from him telling her that he has moved on and she should too. Huahua is getting married. She still thinks about professor. A day before her wedding, FL tells her that professor is back in China and if she wants him, this whould be her chance. Huahua leaves to the address to meet professor, only to find out FL lied to her. She is not able to make it to her wedding and loses her mind. Cut to the FL. She is all alone, her father asks her to return home. She tries out one final business venture. She finds a backer but turns out he just wants to sleep with her. She finally realizes that she is all alone and thinks about the early days with professor and her friends. She daydreams that she and the professor got together and got married(the scenes from the first episode).
