I'm a little confused on the timeline at the end. Okay, we had the tipsy makeout scene. Then Paper looks to have…
The scene about the death of Tong Fah's dad is a flashback indeed. They already spoke about Sky dad's death in ep. 1 part 3: the first time when Paper and Sky are talking at the basketball court and then again when they are at Paper place.
I may have missed something, so please can someone set me straight? In the beginning of ep. 3 (right before the opening OST) we see Paper and Tong Fah being awkward with each other because of what happened in the end of ep. 2. Then there's the opening OST and then we see them in the classroom and then at the cafe being suddenly back to be okay, as if nothing happened. How? When? What? I'm quite confused here...
okay i feel like there’s something wrong with me since i seem to be the only one who didn’t much enjoy this…
Actually Nubsib wasn't scared to tell Gene who he really is in fear of rejection: he was just afraid that Gene, knowing his true identity, would have seen him only as his Nong, while Sib wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with him.
Ok this episode was better than the last and I thought the story about Teenage Gene and chibi Nubsib was lighthearted…
"why he got mad when Sib was calling his name for 5 minutes and he completely ignored him"
Because Gene is like this: we already were shown in previous episodes that once he's concentrating hard on something he shuts out everything else. He's not ignoring Sib, it's just that he doesn't even hear him calling..
Auntie is definitely not his actual aunt. Either she was his father's sister, in which case he knows her maiden…
I got that he didn't come back at his parents house, but he went to his own house in the suburbs of the city (the one where he's during the first few scenes in 1st episode).

Well, I'm a socially awkward, introverted and insecure adult woman who a few years ago had a meltdown because my then boyfriend lied to me about quitting smoking. And no, I do not have past trauma with smoking. I just doubted my then boyfriend sincerity. So, to me (I don't want to generalize), Gene behavior was totally relatable. We are not all the same :-)
Gene is an introverted and socially awkward young man. He's insecure and struggles to trust people, yet he was…
When you are insecure, you freak out also for little things. And Nubsib's lie, to me, is not so little. He lied about not knowing Gene, his own family and not having a place to stay. He also showed to Gene his sweet and good side, but then Gene discovered his manipulative side. And he's now questioning how much was true and how much was fake between them. Did Nubsib behave like this for a good reason? Maybe. I hope so. But now Gene is hurting and not willing to listen to his explanation. It's totally believable and relatable to me.
Yeah, that was a bad episode. Nothing happened for like 40 minutes then Gene completely over-reacted. Also, that…
Gene is an introverted and socially awkward young man. He's insecure and struggles to trust people, yet he was starting to open up to Nubsib and also let Nubsib see that he was starting to develop feelings for him (not only when he was drunk). After discovering Nubsib identity, Gene felt betrayed and fooled by Nubsib: he thought that Nubsib was just toying with him and playing with his feelings. Like Gene, I would not be flattered if someone lied to me in order to get close to me because I would not be able to trust their feelings and actions towards me.
Okay, I think I could use some help: can someone explain the utility of Khlui and Seo storyline? And why does Seo seem a 2 yrs old baby throwing a tantrum?

I don't understand. If you don't want to exchange opinions with other users, why bother writing in a public comment space? I was just being curious because you have a very different view about the main characters of this drama. Anyway, on this I agree with you (without any polemic or malice): your way, my way, goodbye.

I don't agree with you. The only real aggressive interaction between them is when Phupha is harsh towards Tian when the child almost drawned at the waterfall, but to me it's justified with how much scared he was. Other than that, they just bicker and tease each other because they misunderstand each other. (Also in real life, sometimes bickering and teasing is a way to know someone.) To me, Tian isn't really disrespectful: he's simply torn between the ghost of Torfun's feelings towards Phupha (Tian perceived that Torfun was in love - or at least cared very deeply - for him) and his own dislike for a guy who treated him rudely since the beginning. Yes, Tian was warned about the difficulties but he never experienced them before. He's immature and spoiled, in a new and difficult environment, with people he doesn't know and he's just struggling to adjust. He wants to be a better person and he's doing his best to learn a new way to live his life. This is not something that comes so easily. Phupha, instead, is a strict and private person but he's also torn between his feelings for Torfun, his grief for her death and his blooming interest towards Tian (we can see this in the scene where he's playing his flute). He can't understand Tian struggles because he can't see them for what they really are: for example, to him, Tian is just a picky eater because he doesn't know that he has a restricted diet due to the transplant. Both Tian and Phupha are strong willed and stubborn men so it's really normal that they clash. They are just very different people who need to find a path towards understanding and balance. But, in my opinion, bickering, teasing, and arguing with each other are not necessarily signs of a toxic relationship. Toxicity really is something else. If your problem is just with the world "enemy" in the tag "enemy to lovers", well it's just a tag... But to me it's not an improper tag: Phupha and Tian are not just two strangers, they are two stranger who, at first, dislike each other and need to overcome this before they can be lovers.
I don't see Phupha and Tian as a toxic couple. To me, they are just two very different people, with very different background, who are struggling to understand each other. Tian is rich, selfish and spoiled. He never had the need to fight for anything in his life until the heart transplant. Event the transplant was mad as "easy" as possibile to him thanks to his family's money and influence. But then, this event (and what he learned about Torfun) completely rocked his word. Instead, Phupha probably doesn't come from a rich family, is a forest ranger in a dangerous place, and is used to live in a poor village without many amenities. They do not know (and often misunderstand) each other. Phupha is strict and harsh, but he's also caring toward the villagers and he's also deeply hurt by Torfun death. To him, Tian is just a spoiled brat who came to the village without any real reason, taking the place and the job that used to be Torfun's. Both of them see only the superficial appearance of the other and so they cannot understand (and like, in the beginning) someone so different from themselves.
Well, the show needed Cir and Phu as substitutes of KengKla (who kidnapped Fiat in the novel) and Tar (who confronted…
I’m sorry, I misunderstood your question. Yeah, they have their own novel, too. I don’t know the Thai original title, but the title of the English translation should be “The boy next world”.
I hope that this will get cleared before the end of the series considering how Mork is already in love with Pi before Pi's makeover...

Other than Kinn & Porsche, who are the couples?
