Great beginning but with a disappointing ending, they paired every single character with another yet didn't develop any of their stories except for the main one.
Like are they together? are they not!? Specially Alex and RJ, the most dissatisfying story of them all, on the span of 12 ep they didn't manage to show any progress, none whatsoever.
They had enough time and space in the 12 EPs to include scenes and scenes that shows the other couples beside the main ones but they didn't also there are plenty of unnecessary scenes here and there that added nothing at all and could be easily removed without affecting the story.
Overall slightly disappointing because I always have high expectations for Taiwanese BLs because most of them are really good alas this wasn't the case for this one, and despite being entertaining it left a sour taste at the end of it.

My god! The most untouchable female villan ever lol she did every crime existed in humanity 😂🤣 I started to admire her tbh xD I can't believe I managed to finish this but I did and weirdly enough I did for Jan and Luke because I like them, that's it.

Well that started off better than it ended, it was on hold for a long time -i was watching it while it was on air- then I decided to finish it and I think I remember now why I stopped watching, there were a lot of hateful characters, actually every character is terrible except maybe for the SFL and SML which are really there just to support the two mains.
It's not really a slap/kiss despite the story, it's a very toned down thai lakorn with little man-handling, which is supposed to be a good thing considering how aggressive most of Thai dramas are but not enough to make it better.

As a person who have yet to watch the first ep, I also read it like that 👍

I just saw the trailer and LOL,,, ok is that the aspect they are going to represent the story through!? I think it's nice considering the serious side in Bed friend.
Now I'm a little less sad about the cast change.

I read the summary of the book and it had a lot and I mean A LOT of things happening between them, and I think it wasn't shown that well in cutie pie - if it showed anything at all, their story is CP was just the headline- and I don't know the amnesia part would be the best thing to start with, I think they need to explain everything from the beginning like who are they and the "childhood accident" that happened also how and why they got together, not jumping into the mid-last chapters of the book.
I'm still hopeful that it'll be good, but I'm not so keen about the story tbh.

Though that doesn't sit well with me but I respect your opinion, it may has some problems IMO but it sure as hell wasn't boring.
Put in mind I'm actually comparing it to other dramas released in 2022 and I think it had everything comedy, romance, legal, psychology, drama, and each aspect was done well, not perfect but done well, so if you still find it boring then we agree to disagree and we have nothing to discuss. 😊

I totally understand you, my point is that I want to know what others who didn't like it think, yes it has flaws and it's not even my favourite drama of the year, but I got what I expected when I watched it because I hate to admit but lately I haven't seen a drama that at least five of the people I know, who watch dramas agree on liking it.

For example I really liked Bulgasal and my friend couldn't watch past the 3rd ep.
So when I found a drama that everyone I know agreed on liking despite it's flaws, I just got curious.
And that's why I asked about EAW specifically because even if it wasn't "perfect" but it wasn't disappointing.

Well, that makes sense, at least it's not the ridiculous "I hate the actress" reason.
But I really haven't seen any kdrama lately that was perfect or didn't have some boring/draggy moments.
Still I can't disagree with what you said, your reason is solid!
