If this is really the story of Ai and Nai from Tonhon chonlatee I'd be slightly disappointed because of the recast, because I really loved Mike and Toptap, actually they were the only reason I kept on watching TC because it wasn't that good, be that as it may, I'm excited now after I watched the trailer so I hope it'll be a good one ~
I have mixed feelings about this drama because despite having a lot of things that pissed me off I actually did enjoy it to some extent, I didn't even plan to watch it I jusf came accross it without knowing anything about the story but it's not the best nor the worst out there ~~
The 3stories are actually interesting but the execution of the main story of Solo and Gui is extremely weak with no depth from the very beginning,I didn't know that giving someone who suffers from insomnia a warm glass of milk would start a very aggressive and strong love story with extreme jealousy and clinginess, also Gui didn't smile that much, Kao was more smiley and cheerful than Gui and the brooding traumatised persona doesn't fit Nut at all, but what bothered me the most is that they started their story with them already in love with each other, with no solid reason and that's probably why they were suffering to fill their onscreen relationship with weird things happening. The 2 other couples were good despite the slightly weak acting from some characters.
I also hated how everyone was so pushy!! Like Gui was too clingy "you shouldn't even walk next to anyone but me" level of clingy, Khim also was at one point annoying like forcing someone to be gay when he is as straight as a pole is kinda annoying to watch and it's my first time ever wishing a guy would stay straight in a BL 🤣😂 as if that is even possible in Thai BL but oh well it did happen, Kao was a little too pushy at first too but I didn't mind that because Drake is too introverted and Kao is too cute and adorable, Drake was a little too stuff but I did not hate him. Some scenes were too slow actually the whole series was too slow that if you watched it 2X speed you'd feel it more natural than the normal speed, The last few EP were also unnecessary I wish it was just about 9-10 EP max.
Despite all that I didn't skip much except for the last 4 EP or so, still I would not recommend it
I'm in love with the first season but I'm low-key scared that the second season won't be as good, I have a few traumatic experiences with S2 of dramas 🤣🤣 I only wish it'll be as good -or better ❤️- because I'm really excited for it and I miss Xiao Qi 😍 and her ADORABLE character!! Please, be good!!! 🙏
I don't know where exactly is the problem with this drama because it - supposedly - had every element to make a good historical rom-com, unfortunately that wasn't the case and it literally nothing could save it ~ I'm first the story was so boring, shallow and simply badly done, mostly had weird edit -this maybe because I did fast forwarded a lot but still I some shots with flashbacks were odd- , there is basically no comedy at all and the romance is non existent, I couldn't see any chemistry between the leads though both of them are great actors but I couldn't imagine them together at all, side characters did not leave any impression and the main are at some point annoying too~
I wouldn't recommend this at all unless you are fan of clichéd Korean historical dramas and don't mind a weak story~
This seems cut off a bit, like it should have been longer but they decided to end it halfway through, it's was nice and I genuinely admire War, I also loved the friendship between Ray, Bright and Best, it occupies 70% of the screen time and I'm not complaining at all xD I bet the friends even had more screen time than the 2ML together and maybe that's why it feels kinda rushed, we couldn't see any romance or even understand why would any of the ML fall in love with the other, the ending wasn't really satisfying unless you are a little too optimistic and can be content with them just acknowledging their feelings to each other. Generally it wasn't bad, it was just too unnecessarily short to it's disadvantage~
This started off kinda boring but it picks up after the first murder, it wasn't really a mystery I was able to guess the murderer from the very beginning and they didn't really made use of the ML good memory, just in some parts at the beginning, and It was kinda stupid that he didn't notice the "five dollars" guy or the "Nunchucks grandpa" and connect the dots but anyway... Overall it was a nice watch, not the best crime mystery out there but still enjoyable ~~
I like this one, the story is good and although I knew the "secret" from the first scene Amber appeared - I had a hunch- it wasn't boring and I didn't lose my interest in it, I finished it in one day ~ I loved Yuhe and her brother, actually her brother is my favourite character xD and the 2ML were both adorable 🥰 Highly recommended ~
Hmmm!! Where to begin with this!? I'll start with this question I had on my mind the whole time watching ... Why the kiss 🤔!? I don't want to spoil anything but seriously why though!? LOL This is - supposedly- a office romance, well, minus the romance because I couldn't see it anywhere!! And the office part didn't serve anything in the story except as a location for the characters interactions ~ I'll not be too harsh and mention the lack of chemistry, nor mention how Toshiki Seto is totally miscast because he looks way more older than Yanase -not much older IRL but he does look old- ... Nope I'll just focus on the weird story because that was the real put off! How, when and why exactly did Yanase fell in love with Kaneda!? Did I miss something!? What did Kaneda do for Yanase to make him love him!? I understand Kaneda admiration for Yanase but it can still stay an admiration if the writers did not push unnecessary and totally incomprehensible romance. I don't know something was really wrong with this drama, it's not that I hate it but I just skipped the last 3 ep because i didn't care anymore I would not recommend it tbh, not even for Shu's cuteness ~
This was unnecessary stretched, I liked it so much and it's way better than En of love version, still! I see no need for it to be over 8ep, because even with just 8ep it has many unnecessary scenes and fillers but I understand that they kinda have to include the whole break up/make up part in every love story so it's fine. I loved the chemistry and the story was better shown than the old version, loved that they changed the actors playing Gun and Bar, no hate for anyone but Jeff and Got are much better ~ Loved the friendship here though I still don't understand the seniority thing in Thai culture, like if you are someone's senior at school you can order them around and stuff like that xD it's not related to the story but I still find it weird ~~
Overt, recommended but I give it about 6-7 because of number of EPs.
This wasn't bad, my only problem with it was that the story of the Main couple was kinda boring I couldn't help but focus more on side couples... I liked King and Ram story the most though we were denied Perth's beautiful smiles and I couldn't get the whole non-speaking thing but I didn't mind it much. Sadly I had problems with the other couples too, I was really annoyed by Mark dubbed voice that I kept skipping every time he was on screen and the fourth couple started late and were not that interesting anyway so I ended up watching it for Ram and King ~~ And their story wasn't complete, since they had the 2nd season in mind to continue where they left off but I don't think they'll do it, it's been 2years already ~~ Generally speaking it wasn't a bad series and side characters were good but it would have been better if the stories were more interesting and something actually happens ~
I don't know why everyone hates this drama, I actually liked it, yes there was some unnecessary scenes here and there but acting and the story are good, actually I liked the fact that the FL is kinda flawed and not unrealistically perfect or innocent and kind like in most Kdramas, becausee that's what people are, and her flaws weren't really that bad, she just wanted to be loved and tbh I bet most people would do the same if they had that note, anyone saying otherwise is either a hypocrite or just too good to be true ~
I admit by the end I wanted an alternative ending because she pissed me off and I felt sorry for the SFL but I didn't mind how they wrapped it and honestly I liked the fact that they gave them time apart because they are too dependable on each other and a break away would help them stand on their feet alone xD
Overall not perfect but not as bad as the comments showing, just a one time watch.
I liked this one, it's not the best out there but it's definitely different, it's not romance based because it only started in the second half but I enjoyed the main characters interactions whenever they appear on screen, also side characters were nice, acting isn't the best out there but it's better than the average.
My favourite one is Jimmy and Tommy's ep5 and the rest are normal to very rushed and one story "ep2" doesn't make any sense lol but overall it was too short and enjoyable, I wish the 5th EP had more screen time because the story is new and I kinda like it ~
