On She Was Pretty Sep 20, 2021
This is a good remake compared to other ones, it only missed all the funny parts, it lack any kind of fun found in the Korean version, this is pure romance drama, not that I'm complaining but I'd appreciate it more if it had some comedy because Higuchi's character was a bit shallow here, I couldn't even like him that much, he was 99% comedic in the original but here he is just another extra with a little bigger part, the ending also was fast forwarded a lot, they just wanted to get to the end of it with respect to every event happening in the original, on the other hand, ep9 was too boring, with unnecessary scenes, they should have cut some of those scenes in ep9 and stretched the events in ep10 into ep9/10
It was nice though i loved it as it is if I don't compare it to the original ver it'd be a very good drama but I just love jungeum too much to let it go lol
On Come Kiss Me at 0:00 AM Sep 20, 2021
Don't bother reading the synopsis because it's just a NORMAL ROM-COM drama with a fairytale concept nothing more or less, the fetich part is almost nonexistent the guy is pretty normal lol famous idol fall in love with a high schooler.
The Movie is like any other live action, rushed with some plot holes since they didn't show everything in the manga but it's not bad the acting and the story are fine.

Title Second Love
I like this drama because it felt real, all the characters here represent how humans are greedy and self-centred, each in a different way, also it shows how dreams can control our perspective on life.
That been said, I hate every character in it lol
Seriously, every single one of them has managed to annoy and anger me I even got frustrated at the main lead, both of them deserved a hit on the head at one point, I won't spoil anything because if I singled out what I hate about them it'll take days, but still the drama was enjoyable, I barely skipped a scene and I liked how it ended, I even was satisfied without the last scene because that what I feel both main lead deserve.
The drama is good if you want a real adult romance drama with serious concerns about life.
On The Vampire Lives Next Door To Us Sep 19, 2021
If I didn't know the story behind this movie and that it was about 2 tragedies that happened in Korea I'd probably don't understand anything.
The disasters were the main core of the movie so you can't really rate it as a movie by itself it's just a short idea or a reminder of what happened from the director point of view and how the souls who were lost are always remembered.
Ji sung was great as always and I really loved him here.
On A Dramatic Night Sep 18, 2021
It's not by any mean funny, I understand the effort to provide a funny environment in the movie, but i didn't even smile watching this, it's just a nice romantic movie.
I didn't expect more from it tbh

it's not at all like Kiralik Ask, only the first part where he grabbed her and again it wasn't like in Kiralik…
That's what I meant when I said without the Kiralık part 😂because it lack the whole "renting the girl" thing.
Well, I haven't seen it yet, so I'm judging from the synopsis here. But I'm excited to see how it'll go.

It's based on manga but no one translate it until end
Aha, I see, thanks for the info.👍👍
On Romance Is a Bonus Book Sep 18, 2021
This is a very slow and calm drama, after the 2nd ep it just began to go one way without any excitement or any strong events. It was just the daily life of the characters, they actually tried to put some twists or problems here and there but it felt like "meh".
That's not bad but most people may find it boring, I actually skipped a lot of scenes but I didn't drop the drama.
Recommended if you are cool with slow paced dramas with nothing much happening.
On Douse Mou Nigerarenai Sep 18, 2021
Is this based on anything, a manga or a book? Because this sounds a lot like a turkish drama called Kiralık Aşk. Well, except for the "Kiralık" part lol xD
Anyway, same story or not I'll give it a try 👍
On A Girl & Three Sweethearts Sep 17, 2021
Oh My God!
There are a looooot to say about this drama, so for anyone planning to watch it, or like it, we are going to disagree so don't bother reading, thanks.
so first I had very high expectations because this is a fav. Drama for many of my friends and many suggested it's for me, I absolutely saw no bad reviews about it and I think I should have looked into it more plus the pairing of Mirei and Kento and I'm a HUGE fan of Miura Shohei so I had absolutely nothing to lose here, nice story good cast, what more to ask, see my point!? What can go wrong!?
What for the potato fries sake happened here!? Why is Mirei sooo overacting, I mean I can handle a bit of jumpy characterless FL but why is she like that? She has no personality at all, she ask for her friend's help in every.single.thing!! She can not even decide if she WANT to wear a freaking Yukata or not for tomato sake!! I really hated her. And Kento said about 4-5 lines the whole drama and just stood there with straight face, I didn't know if he was angry? Sad? Are you constipated? Headache maybe!? What's wrong with you?
Big family secret got exposed, nothing!! Just nothing maybe a small fraction of an intended reaction. What is your character exactly? I couldn't figure his personality till the end. And why is everything is forced for the main lead to be together, like it's really forced.
He has an ex, low self esteem
Ex is bad he got away, can't say 3 words to him
Oh no! she is good, just go back to her and I'll just cry here.
Kento appear out of no where, wow he is the one, all right I love you.
not to mention that he fell for her after like 3 mins of a really bad interactions.
Why did she insist so much at the end and couldn't even ask the old brother for a freaking one date?
This could be muuuuchhhhhh better!!!!!! You wasted good actors for lame plot.
This really felt like a story of a Korean drama, but with a calmer and slower environment, it has the same vibes and plot flow, started off as a rom-com male chasing femalr then a problem happens they break up then back again together at the end, except it was so Japanese in term of acting and character development, they only focused on the main character and the episodes were too short to explore more, his whole relationship with his brother, his family and marriage arrangement thing was a bit odd, so it's a two main lead story and nothing more which is not bad, it's cute and lovely drama and I love the FL personality for someone who is very naïve in love but she has a strong character in term of working and taking serious decisions, the ML should be a little younger his behaviour would be more acceptable if he is still in his early 20s or something but he sounded a little like a spoilt rich kid yet he is nice and adorable at times so I couldn't hate him. Another thing I could not swallow was the kissing scenes the chemistry was good but the kissing and touching scenes was kinda awkward maybe because of the age difference between the two leads and maybe it's just me.
Anyway, it's a light cute drama I might rewatch it, and I recommend it just don't except too much.
On The School Nurse Files Sep 12, 2021
This is a typical "WTF did I just watch?" Drama. It literally make no sense at all, I have no idea what was going on, it started and ended and I still understand nothing. There is basically no plot.
I don't know if I'd recommend it. I just don't know anything at all after watching this drama.
TalkingWithYou Sep 9, 2021
Dodosolsollalasol ending felt like there was a disagreement about making it sad or happy one so they decided to make it both, *Throw realistic thinking from the window*.
You just made everyone watched this drama regret giving it a try, and all the actors work were in vain, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Actually for me the thing I hate the most about Chinese drama is dubbing. I understand that they do it because…
LOL I agree, that sometimes put me off, I haven't seen those tbh but the last new dramas I saw was Crush and Unforgettable Love, I liked the idea of crush and I think they weren't dubbed lol but again it dragged, what I really enjoyed after that was The Heiress it's a few years old, but again half way through and it began to be annoying though I really really loved this one despite the story being as old as time xD I wouldn't talk about the ending in case you have not seen it, but let's say I finished it in frustration.

200% agree with the first half of your post and partly agree with the second! I do think many kdramas are getting…
Actually I agree with you 100%, I stated that most kdramas ideas are repetitive, but I can't compare two types of dramas because as I said every country has it's way of acting, so even comparing versions of the same dramas would be unfair. if you watched Japanese dramas it'd be their superior in the "ideas" and plots, I know that they have many weird stories and some very odd dramas taken from mangas, and sometimes they make versions of other dramas, but still I hardly find dramas with the same ideas or repetitive story in Japanese ones. So, I agree with your point.
TalkingWithYou Sep 7, 2021
I have to say something I might get hate for, but I'm going to say it anyway. For me most of the Chinese dramas would be overrated, because 90% or more of the dramas I watched was either draggy or has major plot holes or simply not good and I'm trying my best not to include the acting in my opinion about them because as far as I understood every country has it's way of acting.
Be that as it may, I love Chinese dramas some of are very good IMO like "count your lucky stars" so I'm not here hating on them or anything what I'm saying is when someone suggest a C drama for me I knew that I wouldn't give it more than 7 and it would be overrated for me.
Sadly some of the Korean dramas lately became like that too, I hardly could find a drama that I'd enjoy from the very beginning till the end without getting bored or pull my hair off in frustration, Korea had very great dramas with great stories but lately when an new idea appear like time traveling or non humans like robots or mythical characters you know you are going to see the same idea for the next few dramas.
So sadly people start to only watch according to who is acting because they'd rather watch the same idea with their favourite actors, and I somehow understand that.
On Check Out the Event Sep 6, 2021
I like Minah so I gave this a try also it's only 4 ep which I believe is enough for such a repeated story, what I didn't like was the reason of the breakup I think it made the everything looks so shallow while at the same time they were trying to deepen the relationship between them, that sounded stupid a bit but all in all it was nice drama.
On Love and Fortune Sep 5, 2021
I started this drama for the sake of the arguments around it and honestly I'm used to Japan's "UNIQUE" dramas and movies, and their weird ideas are not new to me, but I had hard time accepting this. the writers were like "let's have a FL, that is many can relate to her, make her take the worst decisions ever, destroy a few lives, make everything fall apart, then do everything as it should have been done at the beginning in the last 5 mins"

First of all I'm totally biased against the idea of minors getting exposed to this type of sexual behaviours, and I still don't understand why the hell couldn't he be a few years older, like why whyyyyyyyy!!!!!!??????
I'm fine with the age difference but for god's sake, why a minor, it's disgusting, annoying to watch, and none... NONE!!... of whoever accepted this idea would ever accept it in real life if it happened to someone they know.
I understand that it's a fictional drama and da da da and it's not real, but still if the the idea is disgusting then it's disgusting!! Period.

Secondly, if we put the sex with the minor aside, I have zero sympathy for the FL, I'd have it at a minus scale if I could.
the first 5 mins of the first ep made me actually feel for her, and I understand the reason for the wrong choices she made or was scared to make but the messed up idea ruined it all, it could have been a really good drama. Sadly it's not.

While i posted my opinion in previous comment and some people question my morality.I know japan is a modern progressive…
Shame on you that you don't understand such high artistic views on cinema lol
Seriously some people here need to straighten up their minds because they are really messed up, I don't see any love in this drama and I only saw a totally f***ed up woman with sick mind abusing a teenager who is not fully adult yet and how it gradually destroyed their life.
