I agree. Yan Bingyun's character was a breath of fresh air to be in JOL. Whereas all other characters in JOL had hidden agendas, he seemed to be the only straightforward one. I really hope he comes back in season 2.

Just finished episode 25. The reunion between master and headmistress liu was so funny. Rong Rong is such a gossip. I really liked the comedy parts in this drama. Too funny.

This drama was shot 2 years when xz was not so famous. So it was not that high budget. i guess that's why most of the actors chosen were newbies or low cost ones. Now that xz is famous, the drama is really anticipated. Although I understand wu xuanyi acting was annoying. I think that she is just trying to play her character. As for views, a billion views within 10 days of airing sounds good since the views ae counted only on tencent. And the drama is airing on cctv as well.

That would be cool. But don't know whether the actors will get replaced. I hate when that happens. Hopefully for Douluo Continent season 2 as well, the cast doesn't change.

The first episode was kind of slow. But it gets really interesting onwards. In most Chinese shows, the first episode can be boring but it gets better deeper into the drama.

Can someone who watched up to episode 25 tell me. Did Tang San reveal that he has twin martial souls to anyone else?

Finished upto episode 17. These cliffhangers are frustrating. But I am really glad to see the character development especially Tang San. He seems to be getting more smarter. I watched the CCTV interview of the author and Xiao Zhan. It is nice to see that the author want s to show a different perspective of the novel. I started to watch the anime as well because of the drama.

Been waiting for this drama for a year. But for XZ and YZ, I can wait a few more months.

This was an absolutely beautiful drama. Although the romance felt a bit off. Iiked how Manwol would become softer around Chansung. The last episode was so emotional. But the acting especialy IU was top notch. Became a fan of IU after this drama.

This was really sweet and touching to watch.

Prince Bo, Jichong and Yaoji were the best characters for me. Didn't really like the female lead too much. Princess Baona was also kind of annoying. Apart from that certain episodes felt draggy but the music was beautiful.

This is my first comment on MDL. I was eagerly waiting for this show and it didn't disappoint. The acting and CGI are really good. Episode 13 was probably my favourite so far. Must watch episode 14 and 15. Decided to give the novel a go after watching. I really loved the CGI especially after watching so many shows with bad CGI. The introductory episodes and world building was spot on.
