LOL? What?? His acting seemed so much like a psycho in this, which was literally perfect for the role he was playing.…
Yeah not much difference between Snatch, Fury, OUATIH and Benjamin Button, you're onto something. Do me a favor and go watch Snatch, you're missing out on the funniest movie ever made.
The guy can't act and is a prime example of why idols make terrible actors. He was by far the worst part about Misaeng even though he was the posterboy. The only thing I've seen him in that he didn't drag down was The Merciless, so props for that I guess.
The final episode really took a dump on the other other 7 episodes, went from a solid 7.5-8 to a 7. I'm happy that netflix is churning out some proper serious stuff but the final episode felt more like a parody
I'm a couple months late due to completely missing the article back when you wrote it, but I wanted to tell you your article is great! I just stumbled on it by accident while looking through the movies I wrote an article about, and I'm glad I did after all :)
I've not seen May 18 yet so I definitely should. You should have a look at "The Man Standing Next" and "The Presidents Last Bang", both movies are average in their own way, but they're the best movies I've seen where President Park's assassination is the main plot point.
The book recommendations are a very nice touch as well. I already know the about the big events in Korean history but it would definitely be nice to read in depth publications about them, I'll definitely save them. I'm currently reading "Korea: The Impossible Country". If you haven't read it yet, there's a high chance you'll enjoy it!
Usually not too big on romantic dramas but this one stayed amazing all the way through, the side characters where amazing in this one (especially Hyun Bin's squadron kept me engrossed). I want more of this!
I finished 2 ep and am not yet investedWill it get better
I agree with Addicted. The drama doesn't change pace much. If you like the first two episodes you'll like the rest of the drama, if you don't then you'll probably not like it at any point
I feel like Lee Kyung-young and Kim Hong-pa definitely deserve to be on here. Every time they need to cast a corporate overlord they tend to take them lol

Barking Dogs Never Bite is definitely the biggest one I'm missing because I'm planning to write an article about director Bong soon :)
