I kind of agree but I definitely understand why they didn't get nominated individually, as both families worked…
It's SongKangHoFan haha, it displays on LB even though I don't want it to but I had to link my twitter to get a profile picture >_> stupid system but I don't wanna make a gravatar cause I cba
Nah it could be right that you haven't seen anything cause you tend to focus on other subgenres instead of the big mainstream Korean stuff haha

I'm not sure. My problem is that I'm a huge Song Kang-ho fan (check my twitter handle on letterboxd ;) ) and I love Lee Sun-kyun a lot as well (he didn't have that big of a role but I'm still biased towards him)
You might be right that Park So-dam would be the best, but I'll play devil's advocate and go for Choi Woo-shik, he felt so damn natural in his role (for example when he and his dad were rehearsing the part where they get rid of the housekeeper)
Have you not seen anything of the others? Dear lord lol. Here are my suggestions
Song Kang-ho: Watch the first 12 films on his letterboxd+ the Attorney Lee Sun-kyun: A hard day + Jo Pil Ho as movies, and My Mister is a must watch 10/10 drama Choi Woo-shik: his first 4 on letterboxd
It's so well deserving, but it does make me sad how all of the cast did absolutely amazing yet they don't seem…
I kind of agree but I definitely understand why they didn't get nominated individually, as both families worked really well together but no single role/actor sprang out as a single carry of the film.
I'm more pissed of that Uncut Gems/Adam Sandler got NOTHING and The Lighthouse/Robert Pattinson/Willem Dafoe only got 1 nomination
I'm still debating on whether to catch this at the cinema or not. I'm in the mood for something funny, so does…
It's not funny in the typical sense. There's a couple of funny interactions but you shouldn't expect to be laughing during the movie.
But I've seen the film in both the cinema and at home, and at the cinema it felt soooo much better, so I'd tell you to take the chance of going while it's still in cinemas, regardless of the mood you're in.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. In my opinion, there are enough "romcom" dramas in Korea to satisfy your need. I personally prefer serious dramas like Stranger and Signal, and I'm thankful that they're not trying to squeeze forced romance into those dramas. Some of us prefer serious dramas and if that gets undermined just to force in romance, it's very annoying.
May I ask why you don't just watch romantic dramas if you want romance?

The only two I can get from this are The Housemaid and The Foul King because I know the year + director..
