They barely move their lips while talking, sometimes I have to check twice to know who exactly spoke the line... No offense intended... the dialogue delivery felt more subtle compared to other chinese dramas i have watched... was just wondering if someone else felt that way?
I’m not liking this comment section one bit. With the whole Thada drugged Armin therory. It’s too much to…
I agree with you, some fan theories are wild and they ruin the image of the character in our heads... Sometimes the theories don't even have proper logic... Regardless of the theory becoming real or not, the charcter is forever ruined in our head... Why can't we all enjoy this moment instead of making speculations....
Now it doesn't even matter if TD actually poisoned or drugged Armin, our minds are fixated that he may have done something like that.... What if he indeed does something like that... It's making it difficult to appreciate the present Tada wholeheartedly....
Why the hell Armin starts acting out on the people he hates and telling everyone he's from the future, it's so…
He's quite unhinged. He doesn't care anymore, he has seen the success he wants, in his past life. This time he doesn't even have that motivation. His past love is now his enemy. He has nothing to lose.
When he lashes out at Tada he says what he is doing with his life is his choice even if it means he is gonna die.
When he's not even afraid of dying, who would he care pleasing with his sane good behaviour?
If Tada's love gives him a reason to live maybe he'll go back to being calm and nice...
why are people coming to the comments and asking armin to change his behaviour when the entire series is already shot and them being loud is not gonna change what was shot? dude the series has completed its shooting process. They are not in the process of writing the scenes for next episode in this weekend.
If armin's behaviour is embarassing then what should we call this behaviour as?
I don't understand expecting a character to behave the way YOU want them to behave. Not every character has to be how YOU have them imagined in YOUR head. let the actual creators have their creative freedom.
i understand having problems with acting skills, production quality, dubbing or music quality but going into a piece of fiction and expecting all the characters to behave the way you want and expecting the plot to move the way you want is incomprehensible.
if all characters are subtle, all of them are perfect then all bls will end up looking the same.
I am reading the novel and some of the key moments are so different from the series. Am I reading the right novel…
Ikr even the timeline is different. I started reading it after watching first two episodes. After reading some chapters i realised i better wait till the series ends to continue reading because if we go by the series some characters in the novel would seem out-of-character and vice versa.
Whay about armin's character ? does he really tell everyone that he came back in time ?
I can't speak or read Thai either. I am currently reading the English translation of the novel. But thank you for your sweet words. I preferred the way the characters are handled in the series...
I don't like getting into the novel vs series debate. If you read my comment you will know that series and novel have their own differences in characterisation and even how the plot moves... So I think it's not relevant to compare them... But I saw some comments which kept mentioning how the novel was better so I shared my two cents on how bringing those characters as such would have made them look one dimensional...
A very genuine question If he finds out who Tada is in the very first episode what are we going to do for the…
I won't say he 'yearned' to see or find out who TD is. He was curious, he asked the secretary and when the secretary said his boss would like to remain anonymous, Armin respected that decision...
I don't think he saw TD (atleast at that point)as a 'love of his life' or 'potential life partner' especially since he was already in relationship with Charlie...
I understand where your thought comes from but Armin's been through betrayal from the two people he most trusted and got poisoned and travelled back in time... And is probably seeking revenge even at the cost of dying again... In this roller coaster of a situation he may have missed a few details about TD...
Why is Armin so dumb..?? 😭 He literally met Tada's secretary as TD's secretary in his past life. TD used to…
A very genuine question
If he finds out who Tada is in the very first episode what are we going to do for the next 9 episodes???
Celebrities meet countless people and receive countless gifts including hand written ones... It is not completely unbelievable that he won't remember him...
Over the years he has changed managers, lost friendships, encountered many contemporary actors, probably been to many award ceremonies and seen huge number of fans... Tada can't have been the only person who was trying to get his attention...
I see people keep bashing his character for this trait but to me it doesn't seem completely unbelievable or unacceptable
Whay about armin's character ? does he really tell everyone that he came back in time ?
From what I've read so far he hasn't... Besides he hasn't even had that many moments with Charlie or Sam. He does mention his past life story to tada in the park when they meet for the first time...
The characters in the series are a bit different from the novel...
The friend and his mom character was not in the story.... he has other coworkers like gwin, kim, korn etc who haven't appeared in the series yet... In the story Charlie is just a crew member not the director of the photoshoot. Armin is usually blunt and rude to Charlie he either avoids him or give vague replies...
I have read the novel for like 50 chapters... Imo executing their characters as such, would have made them seem so shallow.
For example when Tada tells Armin that Narin was a FWB, Armin won't make a big deal out of it... But that reaction is weird considering his own past relationship was ruined by a third person and he wouldn't want to be that person in other people's relationship... And he's clearly talented he won't have to opt to be in a business relationship to get opportunities... Him making it clear in series imo shows character and dignity.
In case of Tada his character was written like he only wants Armin and doesn't care about anything else... But in this episode you see him standing for himself... The way Armin treated him was not right. Therefore Tada saying even though he loves him, he'll stand aside and be his fan and be just that, instead of getting humiliated for the sake of loving someone... that screams self respect over Love any day...
I think both characters are more dignified and value their self respect I wouldn't want them be shown any other way on screen...
It's not super heartbreaking but it kind of leaves a bit of tug at the hearstrings. Stings a bit, too. But I loved…
Ikr the nostalgia of something so simple but so heart touching yet so out of reach...
We could understand the feelings of both the characters. by the end of it we wanted Armin to open the door and the same time we wanted him let Tada go. In his past life, Armin was betrayed by almost everyone he ever loved and trusted so it's understandable he didn't want to take the risk of trusting someone this time, even though all of his being screams that this time things are gonna be different...
To make us realise all this without using any dialogue directly is worthy of appreciation!
This series is everything I didn't know I needed🤌❤️ watching it makes me so happy. I can't remember the last series which made me feel this way...Thank the Universe!
Otherwise a very interesting watch!
