but the empress is a xuan who was taken in by the qian an royalty as said by wen xiu and sent to the emperor.. here in ep 28, madam wen xiu says that they are a fallen family and all, but the emperor and empress are indebted to them.. so was this lord qian an a relative to the emperor and wen xiu some sort of a cousin, which makes her this arrogant?

I actually get that she is kind, pure and innocent, or rather simply naïve, but its exactly that which irks me, the extremity of her innocence. But when has an innocent fl who doesnt know her true roots and has the mentality of "i can save him from his darkness" ever been unique in cdrama.. Also how most of her actions actually lead to manipulating dfqc bothers me. In the novel she even stabs dfqc and im scared of that happening here. Might just be my bias towards dfqc working here, or might be the actress's acting that i find less appealing. P.s no hate
Tbh i am not liking orchids character at all, so i really hope she gets better coz dfqc deserves better than a backstabbing disloyal lover. Jieli is annoying af. Normally jlfx novels have better fls. But im holding on for dfqc, he has me swooning over him like hell. He better be his strong and amazing badass self throughout and not become a stupid pathetic puppy. Other irritating characters include rong hao, heaven king (as usual a bitch) so far. I am on ep 14 rn. They better give my dfqc his happily ever after. oh right. Guo xiaoting never teaches her disciples well, not in the blue whisper, not here, tsk tsk. Lol.

yeah i read that they used bows in dresses and all but after the new rules, they adjusted it last minute and aired. but from what I know, the main trouble was caised by the drama legendary life of queen lau due to the use of sushi, japanese hats etc. anyway all pending costume dramas r gonna go for re evaluation
as loving and sweet GQF is, i do think that he is too gullible and overly kind.. to the point that he is easy to fool where he should be a lot smarter and stronger according to his character setting.. just my thought
