finally found someone who thinks that ycys acting isnt convincing. no hate intended but her acting hasnt improved since i saw her in dance of the Phoenix and now in chong zi.. she cant do complex roles and according to the novel, the fl here will be a bit difficult to play in a few parts

it might be because there is another one called ten miles of peach blossom after story with different cast and everything which i havent watched nor i will, or the fact that this eternal love is also known as tmopb and many don't know it so they think the 2 are different

finished it and i liked it a lot.. there were some annoying parts but i like this happy version perhaps a bit more than moon lovers, the tragic korean adaptation of the same novel.. plot wise i found quite a bit of similarity with ashes of love even tho both are totally different genres.. ig i didn't exactly like the production but oh well its been too long.. but overall i liked it and recommend watching it if the release date doesn't bother you
