Beautiful story about grief and redemption
Hotel del Luna is perfect drama for people in particular stages of their lives, either because of their grievances or because of their own situations. For others, especially young people, not so, because grief, forgiveness, redemption, remembrance, death, and the art of letting go aren't really topics they contemplate much in the whole seriousness, if at all. The rhythm was slow, as these themes deserve, but one really has to be in the mood to appreciate it, because this was no ordinary drama. In other shows death and grief usually serve as decorations to the romances or any other major plotlines; here they were the centre of the story and everything revolved around it. I needed to soak every episode and message given in it. Each episode and each guest was a step towards accepting what was going to happen in the end. And I embraced it, peacefully and with grace. Epilogue not so much, but about that you can read in the comments below.
