Yoo Shi Jin, Seo Dae Young, Yoon Myeong Ju, Kang Mo Yeon, Dr. Song, Nurse Ja Ae, the North Korean Soldier, Kim Ki Beom, Dr. Daniel Spencer, his wife Ye Hwa, Harry Potter, Snoopy, Piccolo. So many characters I can name over the top of my head. I still can't get over them, especially Big Boss and Wolf. I'm glad I spent so much time watching and discussing DOTS.
No story, no depth, too much romance and cheesiness, too much product placement YET it managed to leave such an impact on me. I think initially I was just watching it because I was curious as to when the show would fall and fail, because it was gripping and entertaining yet not much was actually happening. I was thinking this is going to lose its charm at some point, but they managed to pull through until the end. Before I realised it, the show had charmed its way into my mind and I was left balling my eyes out in the last scene. And now I miss it.
What I found creepiest was how the Queen forced the twins real mother to sleep with the King. That's sexual assault.
I felt so bad for the twins real mother. She was promised a good future for her mother and brother, but saw them get killed with her own two eyes. And then she was killed herself. Sigh. I hope she comes back in spirit and fights for Yeon Hui, and gets her revenge.
In episode 2 I loved Yeon Hui's curiosity with Joon. Joon's reaction was hilarious.
I have to say that i'm getting less and less worried about the age difference, it absolutely does not show onscreen and they look great together. This is a sageuk and sageuks tend to be pretty clean, so I hope they keep the romance cutesy. PD-nim, lets keep it to hugs, piggy back rides and eye locks.
underage, age gap everywhere and here I am liking the drama; patiently waiting for the next episode *tears* ps:…
You're certainly not. =D
This is my first historical drama, and I'm loving it! I like how it's so Rapunzel-esque so it's relateable even if its set a few hundred years back.
I was skeptical (and still am) about the age difference but honestly, when you watch these two onscreen you don't notice it. They're perfect for their characters and you can see why they were cast for their roles. Yoon Shi Yoon and Kim Sae Ron keep it up!
I wish this wasn't live shot, because i'm really looking forward to this one.
It is live shot if production starts 0-2 months before air date.
Pre-produced only means if they've shot a significant portion beforehand, like DOTS which started production in May last year, or CITT, or Moorim School which was half pre-produced.
Anyone had problem with the first kidnapping case where the nurse called the police to tip them off? I mean she…
Park Hae Young did say afterwards that she was playing around with the police to waste their time, until the statue of limitations ended. Also she wasn't far enough from the police station at the time because she was enjoying the confusion she created.
Lee Gun - funniest male lead ever
Jang Nara + Jang Hyuk = Jjang! The chemistry was off the charts, I could even go on to say the best I've seen.
The first 10 episodes I would recommend it to everyone, it's a nice easy watch. 11-17 is a bit angsty, though still good. 18-20 is pure fan service which pretty much was compensation for the 7 episodes of angst.
I'll post my reply to my friend Turkish Rose when she asked me what I thought of DOTS: DOTS was just a screaming,…
I'm sorry ,but I don't recall saying anything about your or anyone else's taste. I made it clear that that was what I thought of DOTS and the aforementioned shows.
I'll post my reply to my friend Turkish Rose when she asked me what I thought of DOTS:
DOTS was just a screaming, fangirling affair all the way, it didn't do much for me in terms of story but it's hard to complain about a show that was entertaining all the way till the end. Finally an overhyped show that I don't think is overrated. Secret Garden, Heirs, Yong Pal I'm pointing at you.
I see both love and hate in the comments. I loved the show. It was simple. There might not have been an overly…
I know, it was such an easy watch. I squealed so much in episode 16 and i had a full-blown rant with a friend on how there's no more DOTS every week, haha.
The best part was when the north korean soldier comes to save them, thus repaying his debt. Epic!
He was in love with Yoo Shi Jin. :P
The whole point of DOTS - Everyone fell in love or had a strange obsession with Yoo Shi Jin by the end of it. Argus, The North Korean Soldier, Commander, Battalion Chief, Seo Dae Young, Arabic prince and his bodyguard, Mo Yeon. Who's left?

May more shows be like DOTS. Amen. ♥

Sigh, what a waste of chemistry.

The last 4 episodes were hilarious. I love the main guy and his desperateness lol.
