Damn it I I only found time to watch the first ep so far and some parts and clips here and there.. so had they actually slept together or what ..(under the influence of the potion I mean, because I think in the novel they hadn't🤔 correct me if I'm wrong..)

Exactly, I agree with you...also, I believe some things are just dramatically more interesting to portray, while some other things are more interesting when written. Like we enjoy reading every bit of inner emotional turmoil of characters, no matter how slow and gradual the developement.but it just doesn't make sense for the characters to be stone faced to each other for a duration of 50 minutes per episode. It's both visually and dramatically tiring. Another thing is that I just simply enjoy different interpretations of sth, as long as it is well done. For example I would actually like for the origin of the demon lord ( tantai jin as a hostage prince) to have some traces of innocence and clulelessness, emphasizing more on how he can't really differentiate between good and evil, doesn't actually understand which deeds are considered evil and why , instead of just focusing on how he does evil because he can't help it.

Words can not describe how much I love the second trailer..it's just perfect, even better than I had expected and my expectations were not low..
God, LYX..how I missed him in true angsty mode😅😋 I paused the trailer like ten times just to get a hold of every single one of his expressions. His dialogue delivery, the changes of tone in his voice, the tears....not a single scene of him shedding tears looks the same as the other one, each of them holding a different meaning, emotion and expression. One is an expression of supressed passion, one of heartbreak and disappointment, one of regret and remorse, one of loss and hopelessness.....it's simply beautiful.
I'm also really intrigued by the third CP from the trailers..they made me very curious about their story, and I'm loving how they have given enough attention to other couples in promo materials and everything. It really adds up to the overall quality.

It goes to describe how the fl actually dies. In fact, this part in the novel is one of the few parts that focuses mainly on ml's perspective, and his emotional turmoil. But it's very heartbreaking and hard to watch on screen.

Yes that's how I feel but for a different reason than tteotm, it's not because the novel is not good, which I agree is a good one. It's just because I feel this story and the characters are very drama material u know..the emotions and the course of events are likely to look even more elaborate in a live action( if done well ofcourse) .

Run Yu WAS ashes of love for me..it was like I watched the whole thing, loved,enjoyed and absorbed the story and each character, and then he was what remained. His happiness, his sorrow, his truth, his lies, his love, his hate, his angst, his loneliness...I went through every single emotion with him, and I actually cried for his heart in the end, for the love and innocence there once was💔

The basic plot of these two dramas doesn't look the same to me at all. The basic plot of tteotm involves the fl going back in time to face the origin of the demon lord which is a different course of event from LBDAF.
I don't know how it will be, I just feel that an adaptation process might do this kind of story some good( I feel the same way about bftb), due to the novel being outrageous. And yes, I also hope it won't disappoint.

LBFAD was nice but a much much lighter watch...aside from the fact that the lead characters start off as demon lord and fairy( with very different back stories and charachter arcs or developements) the two actually have nothing in common. The vibe is probably due to that whole demon lord and fairy thing but TTEOTM is way more complicated and layered than that.

There are many fights, slaying demons, sufferings... but that's not all there is. Actually this is one example where the drama can turn out to be better than the novel...it's the kind of story that can benefit from some strategical toning down and narrative coherence. With those, it's actually beautiful substance.
