The entire recovery phase was so sweet and just beautiful...and that moment when he regained his sight and the way he looked at her 🥺all kind of feels...everytime I remember that TTJ and SuSu are actually going through all these feelings with them , it just makes my heart flutter...particularly in this phase where MY was almost as helpless as TTJ has been his whole life, then suddenly that one ray of sunlight shone through his eyes.. Side note: MY in his true miniature form was sth I didn't know I needed in my life🤭
MY is the bravest in the battlefield, but a coward in love. He's lived and fought all his life like he has nothing to lose, and now he's just afraid of actually having sth to lose. He tries his best to be detached for his purpose in life, while SJ gave it all up ( including her sanity) for love. Ironically, they both regret their decisions. Because when it comes to love, everyone has their own demons to fight first. So, there is no lesson to be learned as to what is the right thing to do. There are only feelings need to be felt, the most important one being the fear of loss, as it was what made and broke their relationship. I'm enjoying the dream arc as it makes my anticipation for whats to come for TTJ & SuSu grow even bigger.
bro she literally drugs and r*pes him, if it was the other way around there would be controversy....
Actually the drug was meant to make him weak so that he won't be able to resist ( that is ofcourse in no way justifiable) , but then he was quite actively doing his own part , it seemed more so that the drug just weakened his resistance against himself rather than her.
total 4 charctersdemon godTantai Jin Cang Jiu Min Ming Ye
Yeah but I mean even the developement of each character can be a standalone character of itself ( specially TTJ) , that's how different they are..yet he keeps what's needed in tact. Impressive..
The dream is how he gets the thread, or love line in the novel.
Sure there is always that 'better' and 'more ....' which is defined by different tastes. I thought in this context the fact that MY and SJ are such different beings and people from the lead characters, yet are feeling the same feelings makes enough sense🤔
Is anyone keeping count of how many characters lyx is playing in this?!😄 the wicked demon lord, tortured and twisted hostage prince, sly and ambitious king, righteous immortal warrior.. next he's gonna act out as MY with all his senses lost...and there are more to come..!😏
The dream is how he gets the thread, or love line in the novel.
You're right, the characters, personalities and motivations are different, but the feelings are the same. The very universal love, heartbreak, loss and remorse. And on the other hand we have a male lead character who can not identify with his own feelings in a normal state, he can't tell what it is he's feeling and there's a limit to how much you can develope a character like that without a bit of a trigger. But now that he actually gets to feel what MY is feeling ( they are living his dream after all, not onlookers) , at least he has a reference to look at and find an answer for his previous question ;" what's it like to love someone..?"
Why people are not liking Dream arc plot?? Dream arc plot is so good and it also important for fl and ml, can…
I love this part actually... it's going to be the lead couple's first impression of true love, a feeling they're both at odds with for different reasons. ( I'm also enjoying the variety of characters) The actors love this story and characters as well, both LYX and BL have talked about them in many instances. BL even said they were her favorite cp, which means they've invested a lot in this part as actors, and I appreciate it.
ep 12-14 so boring. this arc is literally unnessecary
Actually it'not. In the novel, it was almost the most crucial point for the leads developement. This arc affects their feelings and decisions in different ways and leads to important consequences. It's basically the cause for the effect.
Why is the title Till the end of the Moon? Where's the Moon here? She's the moon & he's the dark sky?
Just my own personal thought... in the second episode, SuSu was looking out the window and marvelled at the sight of the moon, which she had not seen ever since the demon lord took over the world. So I kinda feel it's to describe the course of her mission and journey, and how things change for her and the world.
Episode 12 is precisely why these things always lose my interest. Down a fucking rabbit hole about a different…
There is no amnesia or trial..Ming ye's dream is basically a medium through which the lead characters face their own truth and emotions, it's an overshadowing of some kind. Our male character is unable to connect with his own feelings, this is all to give him an actual clue, and I don't think it will be long, it's already fast paced...I also don't really enjoy all things amnesia, they usually don't serve any purpose except for creating unnecessary angst, but I actually loved Ming ye's arc in the novel and how it affected the main storyline
So, in ep 12, they're dreaming about their past life right? So tantai jin's past is god of war?
That's actually the dragon's dream that they are living ( the past life of the dragon) . Ming ye is the dragon, which means he is a different being from TTJ.
I love what this drama is doing to me...I liked the premise and some creative aspects of the novel and its value as an inspirational piece of work and source material, but it made me soooo angry most of the time and not just for the heavy angst( which I actually like) , so as I was reading it, there were many things I wanted to change , or wished to be changed. Interestingly enough, the drama has granted many of my wishes till now with the changes.... and I also really dig the fast pace, because to be honest the right developement of the leads characters and relationship in 40 episodes is the thing I care the most about. As long as I'm able to follow the story and key points, I really don't care skipping things in between. Even at this pace, there are still sooooo many important things this has to cover and now we are past the 1/4 of episodes. Considering that, this pacing makes perfect sense to me.
