I understand why the second lead, Zhuang Xu, behaves this way. He's always thought he wasn't good enough for the…
He thinks she will keep waiting for him, even though he never gave her any assurance that he liked her or stood up for her against his so-called childhood friend who has feelings for him. He neither defended her nor set boundaries, yet still expected her loyalty and patience.
I’m glad she met someone like ml someone on her level, who understands her, respects her, and is capable of loving her genuinely without feeling inferior or threatened by who she is. With ml, she won’t have to shrink herself, second-guess her worth, or compete for basic respect.
yall remember that thing that the fl said to 2ml when they graduated, that she would wait on him? I believe he…
He’s such a loser. I wonder how he expected her to know he was talking about her when he never made anything clear? He never reassured NXG or clearly expressed that he was interested in her. Instead, he allowed Rong to make everyone believe there was something going on between them, and he did nothing to correct it or set boundaries.
Sometimes I wonder if Ye Rong is aware of how rich NXG is because what gave her the confidence to talk to NXG…
She believes she has a higher chance of ending up with ZX than NXG does and knowing she liked him a lot, she believes she will always have something NXG couldn't get. Because of that assumption, she feels entitled to talk down to NXG and treat her with disrespect. Also to keep her in check to stay away from ZX. Girls like her, classic pick-me types often think they can belittle any woman they see as competition in their bid to “win” a man. Instead of holding the man accountable or respecting other women, they choose to tear others down to elevate themselves.
And it wouldn’t stop with NXG. She would treat any other girl who gets close or show any interest in him the same way if that coward doesn’t make his feelings clear and set firm boundaries with her. His indecisiveness only fuels her behavior, giving her the false confidence to overstep and disrespect others. Until he speaks up, this pattern will keep repeating.
I honestly don’t understand the situation between sml and Rong. I get that they’ve been friends since childhood, but it really feels like sml used to like her and she knows it (or I might be wrong). At some point, his feelings seem to have shifted towards NXG, yet he still can’t set clear boundaries with Rong or be honest about where he stands.
What’s frustrating is that he refuses to clearly tell Rong that he likes NXG, which only keeps everything messy and making the girl keep having negative narratives about NXG trying to take the guy from her. I don't want him with NXG but I need to talk about how his behavior comes across as cowardly and irritating.
The writer literally threw every Kdrama cliché and trope into one drama. They should've added Amnesia plot too at this point.
As for the sml, he’s still insisting that he doesn’t like the sfl. I just hope the writer don’t suddenly make him “realize” his feelings at the very last ep and have him run to her out of nowhere. That would be incredibly irritating and unfair. She doesn’t deserve to be treated as a last-minute choice after all his indecision. If he couldn’t choose her properly from the start, he has no right to claim her in the end. He should remain alone.
Reason for the failed NXG X SML love story.First oneSML: lack of interpersonal skills, when NXG said she is working…
I think they've shown enough for us to understand what everyone thinks or feels at the moment. That day, even Rong was waiting for her to call the person before sml collected the phone, they had already made up their minds that she did it and literally got confirmation from the HR that called. They believed she did it, and no matter how much she tried to defend herself, they were sure that it wouldn’t have worked. It wasn’t really about protecting Rong’s career that made SML take the phone, it was more about stopping NXG from further embarrassing herself, because everyone had already concluded that she was guilty.
NXG isn’t a bad person. She’s wealthy and naturally lives a very different life where she has nothing to worry about unlike the rest of them, which I believe caused some underlying resentment and jealousy. That alone explains why they were so quick to doubt her and unwilling to believe her side of the story. The fact that one of their roommates wasn’t even around and they didn’t bother to confirm the situation with her says a lot about their bias and lack of fairness.
NXG became upset because she realized sml took Rong’s side instead of hers. In that moment, it made her feel like he truly liked Rong and would go to any length to protect her, even at the expense of trusting her. That realization hurt deeply, because it wasn’t just about the incident anymore, it was about loyalty, trust, and where she truly stood in his eyes.
SML doesn't deserve SFL, but you can't force someone to like you and him getting hate because he doesn't like…
I think it would make more sense to have an open ending between them, one that insinuates there would be something more in the future. Suddenly making him fall for her after everything that happened, all within just 2 eps, feels unrealistic and poorly written
It feels more like she was targeted because she had no backbone and they needed a scapegoat, which is why they…
I don’t think the conviction was easily overturned, though. The prosecutor and the police were still hellbent on insisting that Yunsu was the culprit, even when Moeun's confession no longer supported their claims. The prosecutors were interested in protecting their pride and the narrative they had already built.
Even in Nine Puzzle, the detective kept insisting for years that the fl was the killer, despite her strong alibi and the clear mismatch in the timeline. He went as far as physically walking the route over and over, trying to invent a shortcut she could have taken, just so he could continue claiming she lied and committed the murder. So the clear difference between this and nine puzzle was that the fl there had a strong alibi and the timeline doesn't match. The first on the scene are always the prime suspect and also the victim was still breathing when Yunsu got there so the time matched. The goal was to get evidence that pointed that Yunsu did it and they took the chance.
And lastly, a competent lawyer could've made a huge difference in Yunsu’s case. At the beginning, if she had someone who challenged the inconsistencies, exposed the flaws in the investigation, and highlighted every violation of her human rights especially on those private videos of her they released to the public just to paint her as a villain, it would've made a strong difference.
Seonu needs to give it a rest at this point. Why is he so selfish and clingy toward Darim when there’s someone who genuinely likes him? Also, I hate how they’ve turned the sfl into someone desperate for him to choose her. The way she's way out of his league, but now they have to reduce her to a character who just waits on the sidelines hoping he’ll pick her eventually.
The sml still doesn’t understand his own emotions. It's more like the ML’s presence triggered all these confused reactions in him. I tried to understand his situation at first, but now he just comes across as self-centered.
He can’t even be honest with Darim about his feelings or whatever he thinks he’s feeling, yet he’s using the “husband opportunity” to act possessive. I understand Darim’s side since her job is on the line, it seems like the sfl will be the one to finally tell the ml the truth, just so this whole situation can end. Honestly, it would be the best outcome. The sooner the truth comes out, the sooner the story can move past this pointless tension and let the characters grow in healthier, more honest ways.
Can someone please give me spoilers?1 Is there a love triangle? If yes, how intense is it?2 When do the leads…
Actually, this drama is quite different. There was a time skip in the second half, which feels different compared to the first half. I’m not sure how else to describe it, but the leads officially got together around ep 10. There’s a love triangle, both friends have feelings for the male lead. It added some tension. And there was another guy who likes the fl. Despite the twists, emotional moments, and the shift in tone after the time skip, the story still wraps up nicely. Everyone gets a happy ending.
The ex is absolutely despicable, just a downright terrible person. The level of audacity and hypocrisy is unreal. After everything he’s done, him and his family still has the nerve to act like the victim? It’s exhausting just watching him. I was glad not seeing him this ep only to watch the next ep preview
The ex is so annoying, and his audacity is disgusting. They should’ve cut him off in ep 1. Now we have to keep enduring and watching the annoying loser until the end.
This drama had so much potential but ended up being a major letdown. Since JP and YR were clearly meant to end up together from the start, their feelings should’ve been mutual early on rather than unnecessarily complicated. The writer dragged out the love triangle for too long, making the story feel repetitive and frustrating instead of emotional and meaningful.
And even after seven years, JH was still hung up on her feelings for JP which honestly made no sense. Their past relationship was already rushed and lacked depth, so it was hard to believe she couldn’t move on. The writer missed a huge opportunity to let her heal, and maybe explore something real with YS. The chemistry and potential were definitely there, but it seems wasted, I wonder if one episode could do justice to that now.
What’s even worse is how the writer chose to destroy the girls’ friendship over a guy. Turning such a strong and supportive bond into something bitter and competitive was disappointing. Sometimes, female friendships are rare to see portrayed genuinely in dramas, and this one had the chance to stand out but it was ruined for unnecessary drama.
Overall, the story could’ve been much better if it focused more on emotional growth, meaningful relationships, and the strength of friendship rather than recycling the same love triangle tropes.

I guess we predicted it right 😆
