Keeping her as his assistant despite her constantly forcing herself on him probably fueled her obsession even more. Someone like her would take that as a sign that she still has a chance, especially when he keeps tolerating behavior that clearly crosses boundaries.
When a person is already emotionally attached and delusional, any form of leniency or continued closeness can easily be misinterpreted as hidden feelings or hope.

Exactly, but I think they do this to make it more memorable and get viewers talking about it, especially if there might be a second season or not. I’ve noticed the same pattern with Pyramid Game and Night Has Come too.
There are still unanswered questions, like what caused the sister to become trapped in the house, her husband now having spiritual sight, and how he will help her like he said. Nari is also still part of the story, and she may be connected to the continuation of the curse.

Yeah, dramas back then often added unnecessary plotlines just to create extra drama or stretch the story. The same thing happened in Bride of the Century, where they added a ghost storyline that felt completely unnecessary and not needed at all because the drama could've just been fine without that.

It was also shorter because some of Soonrok’s scenes were given to Babi in Season 2.

This may be a drama, but in real life, that kind of situation is both strange and unwise. Never put yourself in a position where you’re confessing your feelings to someone who is already in a relationship. Don't fall deeply for someone you aren't even dating. It only creates unnecessary complications and emotional stress for you.
Also, don’t place yourself in situations where you might end up being someone’s second option. You deserve respect and to be chosen fully, not kept as a backup plan or an option when things don’t work out for them.
If someone is already in a relationship, respect that boundary and step back. Chasing them not only disrespects their relationship but can also diminish your own self-worth. Protect your dignity and emotional well-being by focusing on people who are available, honest, and genuinely interested in you.
You shouldn’t have to compete for someone’s attention or affection. If it’s right, it will be reciprocated without confusion or games.

To be honest, no one is really bothered by you, so many of your type are always here. However, you should do yourself a favour and step back, especially since you don’t seem to be enjoying the drama at all. All you’re doing is focusing on hate rather than actually engaging with it in a balanced way.
If you genuinely don’t like it, it’s perfectly fine to drop it and move on instead of constantly criticising something that clearly isn’t giving you any enjoyment. At this point, it feels less like fair opinion and more like unnecessary negativity.

Because she had already been bothered by his nonchalant reactions toward her, and that frustration had been building into a kind of resentment. When someone you don’t like starts making comments about something you care deeply about, it’s bound to irritate you. That’s exactly what happened. If it had been someone else saying the same thing about the dog, she probably wouldn’t have reacted so strongly, her anger was more about him than the comment itself.

It also shows that her emotions didn’t come out of nowhere, they were layered and had been building over time. His attitude kept triggering her, even in subtle ways, until it finally reached that point. That’s why the scene felt so real and relatable, sometimes it’s not just about what is said, but who says it and the history behind it. I also really enjoyed how the cells portrayed what was going on in her mind, because they made her internal conflict clearer and added depth to her reactions.

First, you didn’t like the male lead, and now you’re attacking Yumi. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but why get so worked up over something you clearly don’t enjoy? If it’s not your taste, simply stop watching instead of spreading negativity to people who are actually enjoying it.

At the end of the day, not every show or character will appeal to everyone, and that’s completely fine. Criticism is valid, but constantly dragging the drama and its characters takes away from the experience of others. Let people enjoy what they like without trying to ruin it for them.

The same thing happened during TKEM as well. There was so much hate and criticism, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it.
A drama may not be your cup of tea, but constantly nitpicking every scene is just so weird.

He basically has everything she wished her husband and son had, and he is also loved so much by the whole country hence the resentment and hatred.

Despite not being the king, she still basically sees him as a hindrance. Also, he would have to leave the palace and stop involving in some affairs if he marries.

Lol I see that too but Lee Min-ho’s aura in TKEM is unmatched so I find it difficult to make a direct comparison, perhaps because the ml here isn’t a king and he carries a very different kind of presence.
But still, this drama reminds me so much of TKEM

No one said people shouldn’t have opinions, but constantly complaining, nitpicking everything, and leaving negative reviews to sway others from watching is excessive. I didn’t even expect to enjoy it this much, considering how some people made it seem unwatchable

I agree that she appeared braver than she initially seemed to be. But in her normal life, she was actually very hardworking, and she rose through the ranks on her own merit, eventually becoming a senior executive. She just had no support when faced with hate, criticism and lies.
I think that's what that person tried to explain that she had all the support now thus why she could defend herself

The love triangle shouldn’t have existed. I honestly don’t know what the writer was thinking. It felt completely unnecessary and only ended up ruining the flow of the story. I don’t understand why some writers feel the need to force a love triangle into every plot, even when it doesn’t add any real value to the storyline. And considering it's just 12 eps drama!

When the main leads finally got together, everything felt so forced and unconvincing. The chemistry that could have been properly developed between them was wasted on unnecessary scenes between the fl and sml that ultimately went nowhere.
Because of that, the relationship between the leads didn’t feel natural or well-earned. It felt rushed, like the writers suddenly remembered who the endgame couple was supposed to be and tried to fix it at the last minute.

Honestly, the only reason I kept watching until the end was the cute baby. The baby added some warmth and light moments to the show. Otherwise, I probably would have dropped it a long time ago.
