Oh this is the cdrama that got me out of a slump. Something about the main lead chemistry and story line that just keeps me addicted. I like this drama more than Starry Love. CXX is swoon worthy in this one and the female lead is adorable without being cringy. Hope this helps!

people who don’t like this drama have probably moved on to other drama forums rather than continue to lurk here. there is no perfect drama and people appreciate different things. I think it’s always better going into a drama without too many expectations (good or bad).

someone recommended this drama in the WTPR forum and now I have 2 ongoing dramas to be obsessed with! looking on the bright side, live watching helps control the binge watching and I get to savour the dramas more.

it’s based on a web novel where the ML is apparently worse than what is portrayed. At least they toned it down in the drama version.

I agree with you but it’s so addictive. they knew how to add the twists to keep you guessing even though your brain is screaming at how illogical it all is lol

I was like you in the earlier episodes but the last 2 episodes got really addictive as you see the way ML is falling deeper but the web of lies is getting more complicated. I can’t wait to see the 2 episodes today!

the literal meaning is husband but the way they call each other ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ sounds intimate - like an endearment, so the translators are using ‘honey’ or ‘dear’.

he can take the fan into places like the palace where conspicuous weapons are not allowed. in the novel, the FL brought a small knife into the palace and there was mention she would be in trouble if she was caught with a weapon, especially in front of the emperor.

you can switch audio to Korean rather than English on Disney - that’s what I did.
