What's weird is people keep defending ForceBook's bad acting by saying they're put with top actors from GMMTV…
Neo never had a lead role before OF. FirstKhao only had The Eclipse as a lead couple before OF.
It's baffling that ForceBook are actually the most experienced as leads AND as a couple than the others and yet they are the least talented.... How can people defend that?
They can just say they like them and ok, whatever. But defending them by giving false arguments hurts them more than anything else really.

The problem isn't the character. Mew is a great, well-written, realistic character. Of course, the story revolves around him. I don't even know why you're bringing that up, since I haven't complained about Mew as a character.
The problem comes from the actor's performance. I wouldn't say the same for Force, his scenes with Neo were excellent. So was his scene with Mark.
But every time it's Force + Book... ehr. It's empty, emotionless, bland and oh my god this episode 5 gave me chills of cringe. I wish I could erase that blind date scene from my memory. Really creepy. Their love scene was... well... it happened. I'm still searching for the emotion, but it happened. At least I won't be sad when they'll break up. That's... the good thing, I suppose?
First series I've seen him in and probably the last because the next time he's in the lead I'll skip. -except if there's First and Khao in it... I'll watch it and pray that Book got some acting lessons since then... ðŸ˜-
And if it's because he's less experienced than the others, then we're back to what I wrote above. It's a casting error. He should only play side characters until he becomes good enough to play a leading role. It would be better for him, for us and for the dramas he's in. Or stick to roles that suit him better. I don't know what, but certainly not that.

Forgive me, but what kind of excuse is this? 😂
Only Friends is Neo's first ever main role in his entire career and absolutely NOBODY here would dare question his acting skills LMAO
Regarding First and Khaotung, they debuted at almost the same time as Book and Force. They have almost as many roles as them. And on top of that, they've only had ONE drama as a main couple before Only Friends (I said main couple, don't bring MLC where they only had 3 scenes together 🥲), unlike Book and Force, who've already had 2.
Really it's not even an honest argument. If you tell me you like them, fine, I won't protest because I think everyone has the right to like what they want or who they want. But to say that they are less experienced than the others ??? Excuse me ??? 😂
Whether you guy likes them or not but you shouldn't skip anyone's part each characters are connected so try to…
I don't skip their scenes because I'm too scared of missing something important (which never happens but... I can't tell until I watch it lol). But damn, I always wished their scene would go by faster so I could see SandRay and BostonNick again. 😔
That's a really interesting point. I think this does play a part. I also think TopMew's development just wasn't…
I understand why Top likes Mew (or loves, I don't know). But I really really REALLY don't see what Mew likes about Top. Is it just because... Top is handsome? Is there anything else Mew likes about him? 🤔
Book is always the weakest link in anything he's in. Force is not exactly a powerhouse of acting, either, but…
Yeah we're all having fun with the mess in this show. You don't like it ? That's fair. There's plenty other shows for you to watch instead of this one.

It's true that you can always find much worse actors than him, but that doesn't change the fact that Book plays badly and that it's detrimental to the series. Especially when he's supposed to be the lead...
His scenes are painful to watch. His character is supposed to be purer than the others and yet a lot of people, myself included, wondered if he wasn't hiding something or plotting against Top, hoping that Book was just holding back from showing some emotion in his acting. But it's becoming increasingly clear that this isn't the case and that Book simply isn't capable of expressing anything other than that bored expression he always has.
It's a real shame because Mew's character is very interesting and well written. It's just the execution that's a pain. This is all the more obvious when he's directly compared to the other actors who are just totally brilliant and colourful. Just imagining the role of Mew being played by a competent actor makes it all the sadder.
Hopefully there are people who appreciate Book. It's a good thing there are different opinions. However, the general opinion is largely against his acting and many comment that they simply end up skipping his scenes, which is actually damaging for the series.
So my point was simply that your qualifications as an actor don't make your opinion any more relevant than anyone else's. And the fact that young, inexperienced actors exist doesn't change the fact that Book's choice for this role seems like a mistake.
I still have a faint hope that he'll eventually get unstuck and prove us all wrong. That would be really great for the sake of the series. But then... I have my doubts.🤔

Ok but I was responding to your previous comment, that one doesn't really have anything to do with your original point. Yes, you've met some bad actors in a school, and thankfully so given that's what a school is for. What kind of argument is that exactly?
It doesn't change the fact that Book's acting is bland, very very bland, and that it's detrimental to the series.
"as someone who has qualifications in acting, i can confidently say book is not a bad actor"
You seem to be using your acting experience as an argument from authority, as if we know little compared to you. But the fact is that the majority of people agree that Book's acting isn't good enough for this series. His scenes are boring, cringe and Book doesn't seem capable of expressing enough emotion to allow viewers to become attached to his character and feel invested in his interactions.
