I've never seen Book in any other role and I was really hoping he was hiding his true nature, or some big secret so the actor could show some powerful acting from time to time.... But yeah... after this episode, I don't think that's going to happen.

1 - Boston has his reasons. They may not be very clear now, but it's obvious from the look on his face that he was disgusted. Plus, he wants Ray to go after Mew and he's just seen that Sand was ruining his plan. He also seems to hate seeing people happier than him? Or more successful than him? It's only episode 5 and we haven't had a proper episode about him yet. We'll find out more about his reasons and motivations later.
2 - Sand was upset because he's already in love with Ray but Ray keeps saying they're only friends (see what I did there? xd), which of course upset him. And now he knows from Boston that Ray has been in love with Mew for a long time, which explains Ray's attitude towards Sand.
3 - Yes, when you're heartbroken, you tend to be a bit selfish. People are like that. Sand is no angel, he has feelings too.

I don't know about their acting, it's the first show I've seen them in. But they're clearly the least engaging couple on this show, that's for sure. Every time they show up together on screen it's either boring or cringe or both. I refuse to skip a scene because I want to know what's going on but every time it's their turn I really hope their scene ends faster so I can enjoy watching the other 2 couples 🥹
It's a real shame because I think Top and Mew's story could be a lot more interesting than that but it's really hard to stay focused during their scenes. It's even more of a shame when they're supposed to be the main couple and Mew the main lead.
