Episode 25 and it seems to have become the "Mrs Mai show" Is this a filler? The mother has not changed and they have reconciled and the mother is trying to push other men on her. Not a fan of the parent characters in this drama at all. The previews for future episodes arent making me keen to watch. Sad as I love Xu Kai and Yang Zi.

Ive noticed your other comments on this subject too. I dont know why you dont get other peoples perspectives on this character but only your own. Its our job as viewers to interpret things in our own way. What has my opinion on this to do with real life? Interesting that you would attack people over a fictional character. Im a 50 something mother to 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren. I find this womans behaviour abhorrent. I come here because Im so frustrated, I literally want to lean in to my TV and punch this womans face. The way the husband the FL and younger brother respond to her behaviour also makes me dislike their characters. A perfectly good drama being ruined, for me, by this woman because she is everywhere and into everything. If this character doesnt step back soon it will severely affecy my review.
Really interesting comments. I have to say found this by accident. Fell in love with this immediately! Now Im struggling- why? It became one long collection of depressing events. When I saw a celebration I was expecting some disaster to befall someone and it didnt disappoint. On episode 51, and as much as I realise its a slice of life drama I cant wait to finish it and I wont be rewatching. Another aspect of this drama that was also pointed out in another comment was the ability of our leads to hand out money hand over fist. They were poor but able to come up with huge sums. Didnt make sense.

I got more out of episode 25 & 26 teasers then I did from episode 24. What a let down. It seems all the "good stuff" we can see are in the intro and end credits. Going back to my other dramas, the build up for this, well I stupidly had expectations. So far we have a useless ML. A FL that sacrifices herself for no reason- the "bad" guys are still there. I use that term loosely as the divine realm really isnt good, anyone care to explain what purpose they actually serve? Im all for getting rid of the middleman. Also episode 26 looks like another journey into lies and BS by our super intelligent super powerful ancient god.
Im at a loss. The divine realm knew the immortal realm had been attacked and did nothing to help. What was the arranged marriage about? I find the divine realm totally lacking. There inaction and total lack of concern for others is on a godly scale. Im finding myself hoping this realm can be brought down by Fusheng and co. The contrast between Shen Li whos actions are based on her love and care for others and Xing Zhi whos lack of emotion seems to drive the carelessness of the divine realm- is truly dazzling. Is it any wonder the 3 realms are falling into chaos and Xing Zhi is the only ancient god left. I really would like to know what really caused the demise of the ancient gods.
I really cant stand it. The only character I like is Yu Jing. The guy cant even piss off his mother and cousin. They are left in the house to torture the MC and the audience. Its been a while since I felt like smashing my tablet. Oh and so you know Im only on episode 4 and can see the mother looking miserable because the bitch of a cousin has spilled about the fake pregnancy. Well you get what you give right. Fake cancer fake pregnancy. The lines crossed by the mother have me believing the husband is in on it. What part of this is really comedy?
Some sweet moments between the leads, quite often spoiled by others. A crass best friend chasing a university student, no forcing herself on a uni student who has the nerve to question her friends relationship. Then shows up unexpectedly in her apartment knowing she is living with the guy? This is not comedy. I have been fast forwarding through a lot of the episodes, forgetting why I never finished this previously. A lot of annoying side characters in this, never thought RW would be included in that! Here's to a lot of fast forwarding in future episodes! As a review said , just watch for MC!
On episode 5, loved the premise of the ML getting heartache when FL is crying. That was ruined when it was discovered he would suffer from just forced tears not even real heartache from FL. He can suffer if she just get dust in her eyes. Anyway, decided to just move on with the story and hope the FL matures along the way. Love Jeremy Tsui, great actor hope he can land some seriously epic romance dramas with his own voice. Such a pleasure to listen to.

What a train wreck this drama is. Absolute shit show. I cant keep watching this. Too nasty. I kept saying I hope she kills herself. What rotten life this woman is living. Honestly even if he gets down and begs after this rotten treatment I would just stab him in the heart. Dropped. My anger would just burn me up if I continued.
