Wow, this royal family is the absolute pits. I cant say I like a single one of them. Bai Jue passed on his rotten communication skills- for those that have seen TLI.
I felt some relief when Houchi/Shanggu stuck the sword in.
Anyway, lots of stupid shit going down and the Queen just does what she likes without any consequences. Even Bai Jue just stood there like some brainless twat, SMH. What an absolute farce.

Yes, I did mix up the sons, mainly because the wicked one was so childish. The otherone admits he is a coward and Im glad, he doesnt deserve Fengran. His mother and brother are criminals. And the ever sacrificing Houchi is really annoying. Im sure that will annoy but I dont have the benefit of having completed the drama.

So my question is, how do we get such a corrupt royal family? The 1st born son is as spineless as the king and the 2nd son and daughter are as nasty as the queen. Someone tell me how they manged to become rulers and stay in that position?

It was a happy ending, in a somewhat unsatifactory way, which seems very common in cdramas- except for TSoKP which had a audience pleasing ending.
I loved the pairing here with WAY & ZLS, hope to see them together again ❤️

That drama was so disappointing. Im sure those 10 episodes would have made a huge difference. Currently reading the translated novel on line. So much better.

And it gets worse. Took me hours to get through 24, I kept stopping it because I was so upset.

Im on episode 24 and its literally taking me hours to watch. Im frustrated by the characters stupidity. Evil prevailing. Those disgusting peacocks. Im hating so many characters right now. Hong Yi included. Hong Chou and more. Cried when Daze was lost. Why are these "gods" so ungodly. Why is Yin so weak and pitiful?
