People keep saying what a great plot. A story that kept going around in circles. A teview that praised the FL, who actually did a lot of stupid things and was the cause of her problems. She was the problem and I really dislike her as much as the 2nd FL. MN the 2nd ML was a total waste of space.

It's putting me off. People are commenting about a slow burn romance between the leads, I'm not seeing it right now, JJ is on his own. I really like the actors, the characters not so much. Usually this far in (13 episodes) I'm invested in the characters. Something so lacking.

I dont remember but I dont think a proper marriage was organised with her family/brother. That left state minister was keeping her as a threat to her brother. A kidnapping as suggested. The minister is even crueller than imagined. See how his wife is still grieving so much? Not to mention the wasted life of our FL.

How disgusting, this guy skips out on his arranged marriage, returns after 15 years and calls her his wife? FL has been imprisoned and treated like garbage because a mythical husband she never met supposedly died? How can she be married? How does a wedding ceremony take place with an already dead groom?
This will be interesting to watch once all is revealed. I would be so angry.
What if said shmuck comes to the family because he finds his "wife" beautiful? I find this man so selfish. I know other comments praise him as a good match but I disagree. FL helps others, this guy only helps himself.

Thanks for this, I left it once because I found the leads boring. Dropping it for good. I cant like the ML. The FL just gets more stupid as time goes, not career wise, although she will believe anything he says. Privately omg worse. He has no EQ. Anyway there are so many good stories out there getting wrecked by Chinese film makers and sensorship. Grrrrr

I feel FL is playing a deep game herself. She wants to get to the truth. No one in their right mind would say yes immediately to marrying a stranger. ML is just acting on his feelings and hormones lol. Cant take this too seriously, but still hoping for a HE.

I thought ALP and TLI were written by the same person? Ive thought about Bai Jue, what his reasons are etc but nothing justifies the level of cruelty he used was excessive imo. Im devastated that Gu Jun is gone 😢
