XZ is serious about his work & focuses more on acting & preparing for his role properly that's why he only film 2 work a year. His focus is not just earning money or popularity that's why he doesn’t do variety shows which can earn a lot of money & popularity for celebs. By taking 3-4 work a year constantly can also damage one's health & also preparation for every new work will be cut short. XZ doesn't stick with any specific genre or role so he won't act same way in every work like some other celebs. If u look carefully then u'll see his every work is different genre as well as his role & looks, acting style changes vastly in each work. So he likes to give more time in preparation. No, he is not taking break. He filmed movie more. In last 1.5 years, he filmed 2 movies and 1 drama. His movie legend of condor heroes got released in january this year. Another movie- de xian jin zhi is rumored to be released in may. His drama zhang hai zhuan is also rumored to be released in may-august this year. He also released his first music album 'WM' on November last year. So he has been very busy. His new work will be announced soon. He is strongly rumored for filming a spy drama next. Wow! The score went from 7.4 to 7.2 probably will be less later. It was a drama full of popular cast but still flopped. That's why even if actors/ actresses are popular but they need to be very careful to select script rather than rely on popularity or fans. BTW gong jun has very bad luck recently, he is casted with popular actresses on big projects still the dramas are let down, I remember the legend of anle with reba too. Anyway I was interested in the drama when first anounced but now doesn’t seem much interesting.

Hopefully xz shoots some drama that can be ur type & u can enjoy fully. XZ always try new genre of drama & movies for his projects. All of his roles are quite different. As everyone's preference is different, maybe one of his future project will satisfy you. I already found one like the youth memories, it's a total 10 for me & enjoyed a lot. His next drama Zhang hai zhuan seems quite interesting so wait for it, I feel like I am going to like that drama too as it's my preferable genre revenge- political. I also admire xz & follow all his work as he has that power to attract people.

XZ works hard & humble that's why he is so famous. I am a xz fan for years so I also noticed he appreciate others work too so it would be nice if u also did appreciate the fl co stars of his as i observed most of his fl co stars are quite good at acting & xz is lucky this way as i know some horrible actress in c-ent whose acting are so bad even their fans make fun of their own fave. Look can be personal preferences so it's best not ever comment on someone's look as it is kinda mean. Oath of love fl is pretty cute & many thinks of her as such. Bai bai he in sunshine by my side is very good actress & very popular where most of people in china know her, the reason why u didn’t feel much chemistry is becuz it was a urban drama focusing on life- career not complete romantic type story so didn't focus on that side much. The longest promise had a young actress that’s why i was at first worried but then saw she was good in acting. Longest promise was a drama full of misunderstsnding & pain, sacrifice maybe that's why u felt less chemistry as even the ending was not total happiness. Still all of these drama was hugely successful with some had good tv rating so that shows most of the people liked & felt the chemistry so these were success. Longest promise was one of the 3 dramas of tencent in 2023 to make most profit, it was reported by tencent so it was very successful. Also it's better not to mention others & keeping a positive vibe here. Also I am too waiting for xiao zhan's movie & drama eagerly.

Open ending

I kind of like bai lu, feel like her acting is quite good. But if I have to pair xz with anyone i would want older veteran actresses who are not traffic & good actress. Becuz only acting with good actreeses & colleagues, xz will be able to improve even more. Good colleagues always improve you & bad ones just push you down.

The reason is xiao zhan was a support character here with very little screen time. His part was filmed in only 3 days in joy of life season 1. He was not super famous back then as a result had extra time to act as support character for some dramas. But in 2019, he got super famous & got many good resources as male lead. He no longer have extra time to do support character as he is very busy to film as male lead in dramas. The time joy of life season 2 started filming xz was offered a movie as male lead with famous director who has many box office hit movies tsu hark. Obviously it's very easy decision to make as an actor he chose the movie to film rather than a support character in joy of life. XZ then also filmed a revenge plot political palace drama zhang hai zhuan with another famous director in drama land zheng xiao long. Also there is rumor of him filming a movie next with daylight ent. As his schedules are tight with getting good resources with famous directors as male lead, there is little chance that he will join joy of life as a small support character & he doesn't even have time to film these support characters now as he is busy.

Wow, accepting volunteers is a really bad move. Like cdrama fans are super crazy if u like one actor/actress u may be a hater for other celebs seen as competition & thus can suppress anyone. All xz haters are others fans. I have seen some international drama accounts, cdrama youtube reviewers that also volunteers staff for updates & many of these are biased. Their review for their fave celeb drama is always good & those they hate give negative review. There is some melon accounts in twitter which are xz hater & rather than being neutral account, always post negative about him so for cdrama I don't trust any melon or drama accounts for any celebs news as haters are crazy. Seriously hope mdl becomes more professional, upright & all of latest strangeness are just misunderstandings or bugs maybe but even if it's intentional, it won't mean much though, xz drama have high cvb rating in china where it matter most & also high rating & followers in other sites.

Sorry, if u feel attacked but in mdl u'll see mostly popular celebs pages get suspicious when some give negative comments because the popular celebs have crazy antis. There are some user id names that I remember that I saw speaking bad about xz on other drama pages & saying negative thing for all his dramas for 3-4 years & giving 1 rating & these kind of haters are also present in other popular celebs pages too so some become irritated & suspicious sometimes so they may question if the opinion is truly objective. But I want to tell everyone just relax & don't just always try to judge if its truly causual audience or hater commenting rather if u don't like a comment ignore by ignoring the comment section won't become a place filled with arguing too & just post ur positive opinion on drama to cope with it but let everyone voice opinion whether it’s good or bad. Remember real gold always shine.

U may be not intentional, that's why I also nicely explained. I am just too traumatised by this weird recent event of competition & war in mdl. So by answering u I am also warning everyone not to mention any drama & stay positive. U know mdl has so many different kind of people so it’s possible to have little conflict with others as personality clash so don't mind. Also obviously there'll be some people that won't like this drama too as all drama, movie have those whether it's popular or not & SBMS will be same. But from my perspective I think the drama have some element that will make more people like it than the small amount not liking as I have already seen some non fans are promoting & liking it on twitter. Anyway enjoy ur future dramas.

It's ok if u don't like drama genre so can't get into it, I hate cringy idol romance most so it's pretty hard for me to like any idol romance even if it's top & liked by many, but this drama is kind of mature romance & pretty cute so i am ok with it & liking it. BTW it would be great if u could not bring any other drama name here. Since I have seen a lot of people that in order to promote their fave drama, goes to other pages & somewhat say it's bad & all then bring up to promote about their fave drama & sometimes two drama pages same time airing even shit on each other in mdl. Basically mdl is becoming a toxic zone. I slowed my habit of reading comments of various drama pages because of this toxicity I am seeing on chinese side of mdl. One thing I like is xz drama page mostly never bring other drama name to compare to prove good. So it’s better for all drama pages or audience not to associate one drama with another. It’s bring positivity & all drama will have their own audience that like & some don't like. Say ur opinion if u don't like something, it's normal but please don't bring any other drama name & especially since the two drama are very different genre so some audience that like modern genre this drama may not like that drama with different genre & vice versa.

Fans are saying they are not chasing xz drama but the dramas are chasing them 🙃🤣. In just 4 months 3 xz dramas aired this year. Someone said with xz their will be either drought or flood of xz dramas. We are living in the flood time 😍. Just watch slowly & enjoy because in future there might be drought for some time 😢.

It's not that he overshadow them but his character is always older than them & mature, also fl of all his other dramas has a little bit of childish side so it may feel to some as xz role overbearing a little bit though not all find it that way or overbearing maybe it depend on taste. Here BBH have mature divorce strong character & XZ is younger childish character than her so some people are feeling he isn't overbearing or match more. Those that like mature woman role will probably like BBH more & those that like innocent sweet a little bit childish woman role more will like his previous fls more.

Some liked this trailer so much in twitter, they said it’s going to be the best xz drama or best couple. They weren’t really dissing xz previous drama or couples. It is really true that she is the most veteran older fl xz worked with as shown in her profile & some are probaly liking this chemistry more. But it’s always changeable in future, they could like another more. Other fls of xz also did great otherwise how could those dramas be so popular? There is going to be some liking his previous fl more than this & some'll convert to liking this fl more. It all comes to personal taste. Just like xz drama characters not all are equally liked, there are polls as fun fans do who is most liked xz drama characters, people vote different as various taste but it doesn't mean fans don't like his all characters just some are more liked. Relax & take mdl as a fun site to enjoy.

Because of xiao zhan's new drama sunshine by my side is airing today everyone went to that one already 🤣. This year 3 xz drama aired in only 4 months. The downside is eveyone has to move on to welcome the new one. They are stuffed with too much & getting crazy to balance all dramas. Just let them digest new drama then will come back to talk it again 😉.
