I personally feel some of his drama had bad written side characters or acting like in OOL ml & fl friends acting & characters was annoying even though the drama was a success that friends part annoyed many. In ace troops huang jingyu's drama character was really bad. Bt it had 2 screenwriter if the perfect character written for xz by the same scriptwriter wrote the hj character then it would be a perfect military drama & rather than only getting nominated for feitan award, it could really win.
If only his character is good the drama can't go far, his character has to carry the drama but it's not good. His partner as well as side characters need to be well written & also good. He may only get praise for his part bt overall drama to be really good everything need to be perfect. I really hope for all his future, all casts even side characters are professional in acting as well as their written characters are really good & logical. All parts need to be good not just xz's. The youth memories is the drama that I felt all side characters had strong logical realistic story, even small side characters were amazing in acting, so hope for good drama like that.

Off course their will be fans that won't like some xz's drama as taste vary but they won't rate it 1 as drama isn't bad to that point or none gives 1 other than anti. Those don't like will rate it average like 5, 6, 7 etc which won't bring the overall rating down. Because when antis rate 1 intentionally & maliciously even if someone give it 10 then the overall rating just become 5. It's more problematic to be rated 1 by anti.

This happens a lot in mdl. To highlight how their own drama is good they bash other dramas first intentionally. Mdl toxics are like those rude people in our life who like to criticize others to praise themselves & gossip bad behind others. They should just talk about their own drama & respect other dramas as many like TLP too. U can see the quality of people from their behaviour while other pages don't ban bashing bad to their ongoing competiting drama maliciously bcuz of the competition they feel so attack first, here in TLP even if some casual watchers don't like some of other dramas as taste vary but we don't bash other dramas without provocation & ban discussion of other drama. It shows quality & maturity of people. Let those drama audience show their true immature nature. TLP is still doing better than them.

TC was always bad to xz. After watching their bad handling of this drama I am just thinking if there's a behind the scene drama & if some TC staffs don't like him. XZ have no backer so I just see him getting bullied a lot. Hope he never pick their production. Luckily despite all these sabotage which could make any other drama sink, TLP is still doing good in china & internationally.

Bt TC has many big celebs with large fanbases dramas too & u'll see they still promote it. So it would be stupid not to promte xz's drama bcuz he is popular. Don't they want more money from new audiences? No matter how popular without promotion many people won't know that the drama is airing. With xz's popularity, it can attract some people but to be even higher popular, TC need to at least give some promo to spread the drama bt they aren’t even doing it & releasing drama in everyday without break, it's a intentional sabotage.

People have different taste maybe that user found it not her type & not liking slow burn romance here. Also it shows that she's not liking it bt u r liking so everyone's taste vary. That's why I feel nobody should care for others comment & see for themselves if they like the drama. As preferences'll be different for all.

I have seen "Architectofnonsence" user so much in all xz's drama bashing for three years from 2020 till now. I am amazed how can someone hate to the point of 3 years & the work they put for just hating. Every xz drama she posts bunch of negative comments in mdl, especially to the popular one she'll post negative comments almost everyday. Let's wait for her in xz's next drama too. There's reason for people to believe in prophecy. It's not like in modern time & our world where fortune telling, prophecy, immortals aren't real. But in these fantasy drama worlds, these things come true & has real power. Still ML don't believe in prophecy too much as his master tell him to kill FL for it but he still doesn’t want to do it. Mdl is an unofficial third party international list which in no way increase a celeb's popularity or have any impact on it, are you crazy to think such a small site need a big china celeb marketing when all china celebs main career is in china, china celebs doesn't even know this site exist. mdl aren't giving any benfit to xz for these flowers. Flowers are mostly given by fans to show love which don't even benefit him in any way. Also unlike other celebs pages here where some fans just ask or urge others to buy flowers to increase flower count in comment, here people don't urge to buy flowers rather many discourage here as no need as it doesn’t benefit xz but some buy on their own to show love. Also when they like xz's drama off course they'll rate it 10 very common in all celebs fans here too, likewise many anti also rating his dramas 1 maliciously. BTW xz don't need marketing, he's already famous bcuz his acting, new dramas & humble personality always bring new fans. He has the biggest dedicated international fanbase as a china celeb. Look at these videos this year in February he went to milan fashon week in italy, see how many international fans went to airport, to fashion week venue gate & tod's store in italy to see him for just a glance. So many international fans he has as seen here. When public loves someone, they don't need to buy marketing. See the huge crowd of hundreds of people waiting for him even in italy. She'll improve slowly & have good frighting scenes. She'll help shi ying. Right now she's only 16 a teenager, drama'll show how from a teenager can be mature more later.

Main stream drama can include romance bt it may not involve entirely on romance there'll be different plot & relation highlighted other than romance too & it is complicated in plot so actors need to be highly skilled in acting to show their acting power not like idol dramas where actors only need to act sweet or face paralysis to look cool & in love. Idol drama is very simple plot & watched mostly by teenagers as story simple or generic same type. As a result actors don't need much acting skill & with just look can gain teenage fans & be popular. Bt mainstream drama wherther the plot involves historical - politics, thriller, mystery, period, slice of life, the story'll be complicated to show acting power & as these dramas are category that can be watched from younger to older above 60 years old as the older people are experienced & judgy they won't be like idol drama teenage fans who'll be satisfied just by actors looks than acting power, so mainstream dramas need veteran good actor for acting there so the director focus mainly on directing for good acting not look, sometimes mainstream drama give leads even ugly look makeup when needed in the drama plot bt in idol drama they try to cast good looking actor as there look matter more than acting & actors improve their acting a lot by playing in mainstram drama as these dramas have complicated plot. You can watch xz's the youth memories, it’s a very good mainstream drama & see the acting, everyone did amazing. Also it's easy to gain fame & popularity even if the acting isn't too good in idol dramas as audience mostly are young, teenagers bt in mainstream drama to gain high fame & wide recognition, actors need to be very good at acting as audience is older & working people.

They must be xz anti & hater. None with eyes can say it bad. Bcuz the CGI like Hollywood level especially that dragon & shiying's turned animal form. I've seen so many bad or moderate cgi even on high budgeted dramas that people questioned where the money go? At least this drama used the money properly on CGI.

I was actually waiting for the epidemic as it'll be interesting to see how they potray it & the sadness struggle of it. It had some touching moments espeically xz li qin phone call. Li qin's acting was great & perfectly portrayed fear & pain. Bt they should give the epidemic situation at least 2-3 episode to show properly. Bt they rushed too much so it was a little off other than this the ending & everything is very good. I loved this drama so much I would give it 10 bt the rushing of epidemic scene made me give it 9.5 rating 😅. It's one of the best drama.

I understand ur prefences are face like many others before than plot or acting. Bt I always come to drama pages to read detailed discussion from people why they don't like or the negative plot points of the drama like other drama pages where even disappointed people gives amazing feedback of their different negative views. Bt in this drama the only criticism is fl looks bad, annoying, plot generic etc. shallow comment that anyone can say without watching as it's doesn’t give detail explanation of drama & 1 rating. Hope they are saying this after watching episodes not just blindly without watching. Is my eye blind? Shi ying is a teacher & in novel they had 8-10 years gap. I feel like even if drama reduced the age gap, to make xz look authoritative as master the make up was too much like older so that's why he doesn’t eaxactly look like 18. In xz's TYM drama he looked young. I feel like If the hair was different thn he would look young. Just imagine the novels age gap. Renmin 16, shi ying 24-26. Their look match the novel age gap. Don't know why suddenly reduced age bt make up was still like older style.

Tencent didn’t promote this show & held it back for 2 years. It's shows how they are unwilling for the drama to do better, see no platform don't give zero promotion & they didn’t even announce the show before 1 day, suddenly airs episode without any notice. No highly anticipated s+ drama do this & notice how they'll very quickly finish the drama in only 18 days. High quality drama where platform want to gain recognition usually take 1 month to air, u can see many other dramas like this becuz if the drama is good the word of mouth promotion'll spread more during airing so they take more days giving some break in between episodes. Bt TLP is released quickly without a break. Even casual audience won't be able to have time to promote during airing as it'll finish too soon. Tencent always was bad to xz bt there's must be something going on to be this much next level. Bt let's not assume anything for which reason it is as there can be many other reasons. I am just glad xz's out of this idol dramas, online platform related dramas, his dramas are the type to get to tv now, there won't be any issue as tv rating is given by govt. authorities. Let's not consider negativity & just watch the drama with positivity.
